The 44860 Gun Guard case is designed to fit scoped rifles up to 45” in length. Constructed using a durable 600D shell and high-density foam padding this case will shield firearms against hunting's bumps and bangs. All Gun Guard 400 Series soft cases feature lockable full length zippers with dual pulls, a gusseted exterior side pocket, protective rubber muzzle cap, wrapped nylon handles and adjustable shoulder strap. Gave this case to a friend for Christmas. The response was "the best gun case I have ever had." This from a guy who has been shooting for over 40 years. Sturdy construction, very durable outer and a great interior lining provides great protection. The side pocket is a nice addition for carrying chokes, small tools and/or magazines (pockets inside hold two 20 round M14/M1A mags almost perfectly). I am no expert, but I will recommend this case; and, I will get two for myself.
