For under $30, this soft shotgun/rifle case cannot be beat.

Pros: Thick padding and water-resistant exterior. Outside pocket has 2 smaller interior zippered pockets for addition items.

Cons: Shoulder strap could be stronger.

I was looking for a decent case with a shoulder strap to bring my 12 gauge shotgun to and from the trap range. This bag does the trick and more. The outside bag has room to put my shooting glasses and earplugs. However, you will not be able to fit a box of shells or big earmuffs in there. The padding (the most important part) is quite "meaty" and I like the bag's black interior.
Overall, a great bag for the money!

SIZE NOTE: Although the product page says this item is 54" x 8.5", keep in mind that these are the exterior dimensions. The label lists the interior dimensions as 52.75" x 8.25".
It still fit my shotgun fine, but this might be an issue for much larger guns.

The case is long enough to put my 48 inches shotgun. I can bring my shotgun
around and it does it's job. The foam looks thick enough to protect the gun.
I will give a five star if it can provide a little design to hold my extra barrel
and stored it right. I found some white spots like mold appeared along the zipper.

Ordered this for my dad for Christmas. He was very pleased with the quality.

Gets my Mossberg to the range and back, didn't expect it improve my shooting, so I'm satisfied.

The price is right but the only way you can say the foam used in this bag is "high density" is if you are comparing it to the foam on your cappuccino.

I am happy with my purchase in that construction and exterior materials are of high quality but the foam padding is definitely very low density. In that sense I am very unhappy with the product description.

Not worth the trouble to return for the price paid. If you are purchasing for a high-value firearm, I would consider other options. For my Remington 870 Express, it should fit the bill.

Just got it and it looks good. Unfortunately my trap gun will not fit. Product info calls for 51" max but I thought I could manage just a tad more. Pay attention to that measurement. Note that the butt end of this case is quite curved. Other cases I own are more squared at "large end" of case. Since my trap recoil pad is flaired rearward at top end, the curved shape causes an issue precisely at that spot.

This gun case is a perfect fit for my 20 gauge. The zippered pockets are just the right size for almost anything I need for skeet. Padding is generous and I don't need to worry about water. The shoulder strap lies neatly when not in use, but it sure is nice when I need it. Why only four stars? Really it is just a user specific rating.

Fit well for my Remington 870 Express. I knew it was going to be a bit long on the end since my shotgun's overall length is 38.5 inches. So I have an extra foot of padded "nothing" and flops around a bit. If you want a perfect fit make sure your overall length fits the length of this case. Padding is sufficient. There is a decent sized pocket with pouches on the inside and I would say it fits enough for small tools and a decent ammo selection. Nice to have the Sling as well as the handles. No zipper problems yet. Good Price. Very Satisfied.

Ordered this for my Benelli Black Eagle. Was having problems finding a soft case long enough but this one fits just perfect! Padding is nice on sides and having the side pocket helps hold soft ears and glasses.
