I own better gun cases, but this one is very, very good. More than enough padding to protect your shotgun, a perfect amount of storage in the large side pocket, and a very durable outer casing. Absolutely worth the price.

This Plano Gun Guard is great! I bought it specifically for my Mosin Nagant M91/30 and it fits the bill perfectly and is a much thicker (has an extra layer of high density foam on the inside walls) than the 200 series, which I bought two of to hold a Mosin Nagant M38 and a Marlin 795 .22 rifle. This is a excellent choice for those longer firearms that can't fit in the shorter 48" bags and the thicker padding will provide much more protection. As usual with Amazon package arrived fast, came in a huge box and wasn't all smashed and wrinkled, and is a great value for the price-point! Great buy for only a crisp Jackson!

I used this case all last year for Trap season. I went over it today and it's in exceptional condition - no fraying, no cracking on the handles, nothing ripping off - it's well made and it should last many more years. The Hunter green with the black contrast and gold piping makes it a smart looking case. The side zipper pocket is roomy and good for stashing chokes cleaning cloths, etc. It's decently padded to protect your investment and I've been very happy with it and would buy another. Plano is awesome!

This may not be the world's best soft shotgun case -- may it may very well be for the money. I have two of these and just ordered a third. The case is extremely well padded, the zippers are large, well constructed and the handles are secure. The case fits my Browning Auto 5 and Benelli Vinci perfectly. Many rifles will also fit this case; my son's .22 Ruger fits even with a scope attached, although it is a bit snug. I can readily recommend this to anyone looking to protect their shotgun while at home or while being transported by car.

Plano's 300 series case is a great soft-case for anybody with a longer barreled gun. Everything on it feels well built and durable, unlike the cheap ones that feel as if the zipper is going to break every time its opened or closed. The side pocket, although may appear to be just a little perk/addition to the case makes a BIG difference. I use to keep my skeet gun in another soft case until I got this one. In the past I use to have to haul around the case, ammo, choke tubes, choke tube tool, and an oil rag (big neat freak about my guns). With this case I can put the choke tubes, tool, oil rag, and even a single game box (25 shells) in the side pocket. You wouldn't think a side pocket makes that much of a difference but man it really does!
Overall great case, looks sharp, and feels very well made. The best part about the case is without a doubt the price. If I were in a local gun shop, it'd probably guess this case to be 2 maybe even 3X's as much as what you can get it on Amazon. For anyone needing a soft-case for a longer barreled gun, this is definitely for you.

The only thing keeping me from giving this case full marks is the size. I have a benelli M4 shotgun and was really hoping that this case would fit it well and have enough room for the various other things that go with the gun. The case will fit the gun - barely, but there is no room for anything else. This is not a hugely big deal as at least it will be protected, but still a bummer. I would recommend this case especially for the price. However, if you are getting it for a shotgun with a pistol grip be careful.

Well made and well padded. Large side storage panel long enough for for my Remington 870 extra barrel and ammo. Just excellent for the price.

This is a great gun case for the price.. Perfect for my Rem 1100 converted to Rems Shurshot synthetic stock and a 4x32 scope. Gun became a little too large, width, for a regular case fit nice and snug in this case.

This Plano "Gun Guard 300" shotgun case is well made, provides good protection, and looks nice. We needed a case for my son's Remington Trap Shotgun (46" long) since he has started shooting at local club and didn't want to keep using a cheap looking gun-sock that provided almost no protection at all.

The case is very good quality, has good zippers, strong built in handles, and a long outside pocket that is perfect for carrying extra chokes and our choke wrench.

I bought this case for my bro for Christmas and am very happy with the purchase. The case is well padded and fits the gun snugly and securely. My brother's gun is a Benelli Supernova 12ga (about 49" long) and it's a good fit. Much better than the gun sock he had before. The exterior pocket is perfect for holding a gun cleaning kit too. Came quickly and in a big box so that the gun case didn't have to be folded onto itself a bunch of times. Highly recommend.
