Plano Airliner Case is a winner for U.S. Coast Guard Aux Honor Guard,

As the commanding officer of a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Honor Guard I have found no product that exceeds our needs. No we do not use the case for fishing rods! Our $500.00 Parade Flags fit into the case and are protected. They get tossed onto trucks, into airplanes etc... We keep 2 - 4 flags in each case. So that is $2000.00 worth of gear. I am really pleased with the product. So if you have a pole or a set of expensive parade flags? This is the Hard Case for you. It even has wheels! I can't say enough good things about our experiance with Plano's case.

Put it this way, I took 5-6 Tuna sticks in the case and a surf pole to both Cabo San Lucas and La Paz. The poles varied in value from $120 to $299 and they all arrived to my destination and back in perfect untouched condition both times. I've got friends that have gone to home depot and tried to make their own out of 3" and 4" PVC pipe but that has nowhere near the capacity of this one case and they have to cut the PVC to size for each set of rods. This one is adjustable, not to mention the wheels and carrying handle make it easy to transport around the airport and to your vehicles. I guess you can always get heavy duty plastic bags and reinforce them with duct tape for your clothes when you travel, or you can invest in a good bag or luggage to protect your items. You can do the same thing with your rods, but if you ask me you look like a Hobo. I got mine on sale for $69.99 at a Sport Chalet. This thing is durable, you'll own it forever and you'll have piece of mind when you get on the plane and crack open your first Corona or Negro Modelo. Relax you made a good investment. This case is worth every penny and then some.

I bought this tube for a Mexico Surf Fishing trip for Roosterfish. I went with some friends who had other rod tubes that proved inferior.
First the other tubes were not strong enough with one of the tubes actually getting a wicked bending as it came out of the baggage handling equipment and another fisherman's tube had a rod sticking out of it when we landed. Second, their tubes did not have wheels and as we made our way through the airport the wheels on this tube were priceless. Priceless! Buy this tube if you value your equipment.

This Plano case easily holds our 4 light tracks, extension cords and more...that we use at trade shows...saving us over $300.00 at each show in lighting rental fees charged by the trade show management. The case itself is lightweight, yet very strong and durable. The attached wheels make it easy to transport in airports (where it is easily checked as baggage)and in navigating the trade show floor during set up and take down. Recommended highly.
