Plano Shaped Pistol Case (Small)

Two of these cases are in my possession now; a small and a medium. Both are well made and work well for my purpose as I travel frequently with a firearm.

Caution on sizing, I use my small case for a Keltec P3AT and that fits well with an extra magazine. I use the medium case for a Glock 27. A Glock 27 is considered a subcompact but it is too large for my small case.

Locking the case - I had to drill to expand the locking hole on my case to get a reasonable (lighter weight) lock to fit through through. A small issue but was a surprise as I received the case just as I was getting ready to travel and found my lock that I'd been using on another, larger case, wouldn't fit on this one.

This case is highly recommended for both function and cost.

Well this case is beyond small they should call it extra small it would not even fit my .22 semi automatic pistol with a 3 in barrel it might hold a little 2 shot dilenger pistols but nothing bigger than that

This case was too small for my S&W 340 revolver. For this gun, I recommend the medium-sized case.

This thing is tiny, and while I like Plano cases for their quality & price - this case was mis-marked for my gun. For a buck more you can get a much bigger case or a Carry-Conceal pouch that fits the block nice.

This Plano "Small Pistol Case" is very small, but the right size for smaller pistols such as a NAA .22Mag Revolver or Beretta 21a. If in doubt, I would order one of the larger sized cases (links below). Here are my observations;

Pros -
+ Space Saving Shape; takes up less room in my safe than "square" cases
+ Good Protection; case closes securely and is well padded with foam
+ Affordable; this is a good value

Cons -
- Not Very Secure; even with a padlock (not included), the plastic case wouldn't take much effort to open
- Small Lock Hole; a little small for most padlocks

Misc -
* There isn't a lot of room for accessories (like extra magazines) in the case due to the triangular shape
* Dimensions:
Outer - 7.25" x 2" x 5.25"
Inner - 6" x 1.5" x 4.75" (approx)

I wouldn't rely on this case to protect against unauthorized access, but it is good protection for storage and transporting.

Recommended! Note: I also have Plano Shaped Pistol Case (Large) and Plano Shaped Pistol Case (Medium), which are pretty much the same quality as this one.

I bought the G1 off Amazon and bought this case for it, it fit with just enough room. If you have a glock or m9 it will not fit, i also have an m9 that fit in the large version of this case, definitely won't go in this small one.

Bought this for my pocket pistol and it's an amazing product for the price. Fits my pistol perfectly with a bit of extra room around the sides and provides great protection. It even has a hole for a lock or zip tie. If I were to make this purchase again I would opt for a medium size as it would probably have let me fit my extra magazine but if you only have one magazine and store it with the pistol you won't have a problem.

Goof case for a small semi-auto. Sturdy, easy access, lockable, interior foam is just ok.. I changed mine to better quality.
