I bought this case for my Mosin Nagant, which is a very long rifle. It also looked sharp and sturdy. I was correct on both points. It's a very nice loooking, well-padded, well-made case.

Don't be misled by the "HS" in the title. I'm not sure what that means, but it's not "Hard Shell". It may mean "Hybrid Shotgun", although I don't know what a "hybrid" case is either.

At any rate, it's a bit more expensive than other cases, but well worth the extra price, in my humble opinion.

I bought this case for my Remington 870 tactical express in 2008. While my shotgun is a bit smaller than normal sized shotguns (which makes this case a bit long for me), it still does extremely well for transport and in the field. It has velcro straps on the inside of the case to secure the weapon and the outside zipper is very heavy duty. There are several zipper pockets on the inside and outside which come in handy for accessories and any paperwork you may need to carry. There is also room and an extra sleeve for barrels in case you need to break down a traditional shotgun. The case sits upright as needed and has reinforcements at the handle and at the stock for added durability. The sling detaches as well and is also pretty heavy duty.

Not sure why they call this a hard rifle case - probably because some of the reinforements along the case. Mine is a heavy canvas material.

I recommend this product.

Had an issue finding a case for my 34"barrel trap gun. Work great and is heavy duty. Also allows my extends choke to stay attached. Go for it

This is a well thought out, quality product. The overall construction is out standing and should give years of hard service. The well padded case is surrounded with molded rubber like material that absorbs all abrasion and spares the fabric sheath. The brass zippers are heavy duty and can be locked with a small padlock, if you wish. There is an internal pouch for an extra barrel, or choke tubes. Internal hook and loop straps secure the weapon and prevent shifting back and forth. A zippered outside pocket holds additional accessories, hunting licenses or other small items. I own lots of gun cases and this is the best one I've ever purchased. It's going with me to North Dakota goose hunting and I'll not have to worry about my weapon with this case gets tossed into guide's truck!

I thought it was very well constructed and was long enough for my 30" barrell and extended choke. I am very happy with it.

im glade i purchased this case kinda on the pricey side but your paying for quality. nice beefy staps and zippers the zippers came with slots for a small padlock which gave me piece of mind when im traveling with it the only beef i had was theres no compartment for the ammo but one for tools the straps that hold the gun inside are also well made and hold the gun in place very well i would buy again in a heart beat!!!

This is actually a better case then advertised. It holds my 12 GA, extra chokes and is very heavily armored. Exactly what I needed at a lower price then other such cases.

Gift for my husband. He origninally wanted a different case. When he opened gift up and saw this one; he was quite pleased. He really loves it. Well made, sturdy, attractive plus has inner pocket. A real winner!

Nice case! It will protect you gun on its trip to the field. The heavy rubber areas protect from impact at critical points. Much nicer than the plastic cases.

Very poorly constructed gun case. I ordered 2 of these and can't give them away. Made in China. The zippers are very heavy duty brass, but the tag ends extend 3 inches into the case on each end and WILL SCRATCH your guns. Also not true to size. My 50" shotgun barely fits into the 54 inch case. Do yourself a favor and buy a Boyt.
