The reason I purchased this book was because it was one of the last books Kenneth E. Hagin wrote and because it was the last of eight visitations from Jesus he had. I believe Rev. Hagin was one of the most, if not the most prominent prophets in the world in the last 50 to 75 years and this book had to do with what the Lord Jesus deemed the most important things He wanted the Church, the Body of Christ to know before His return and before the "home-going" of Rev.Hagin in 2003. The book is most excellent, as I knew it would be. It is a must read to those who want to draw closer to Jesus, to be more conformed to Him and be more closely related to others in the Body of Christ. P.L.

This book is one of Brother Hagin's best. It gets to the heart of motivation in ministry. Aptly titled, "Plans, Purposes, and Pursuits", this classic explores why many times God's will isn't being carried out on the earth. This a great book, but know ahead of time that some of the information in its pages is not without controversy. What you read may shock you.

This book is a must for any serious beliver's library. If you are seeking advise on where your church is spritually going or where you are going spiritually as a beliver, this book will head you in the right direction.

This is a very good book for all believers, but especially for those "worker bees" who might be wondering why they aren't experiencing the results they envisioned. Kenneth E. Hagin does an excellent job of teaching the reader how important it is to be in line with God's plans, purposes, and pursuits, rather than setting off on our own and expecting God to bless what we do. Our 22 year old son recently recommitted himself to seeking God's will for his life after reading this book and realizing how far off base he had drifted. Lots of practical examples from brother Hagin's own ministry experiences make this book enjoyable to read. In my opinion, an excellent book for everyone in ministry, especially pastors and those in leadership.

Reading this book makes me realize how God is counting on me and that His plan is much better than anything that I can desire. The language is simple, you feel that it is just for you. I recommend this book to any Christian that is totally serious about growing in the Spirit, deepening his relationship with God and make explosions for His Glory.

Plans Purposes & Pursuits is an absolute MUST for every Christian to read. The biblical truths in it as pertaining to our Christian walk and relationship with the Father will be a real eye-opener. Definitely a book that every Christian should have in their library.

I would advise those who sincerely want to worship and praise the Lord in Spirit and in Truth to obtain a copy of Plans, Purposes, & Pursuits by Kenneth E. Hagin and study starting on page 104 "When to Clap and When to Praise" and also study starting on page 107 "Reverence." For example, if the Queen of England walks in the room we would clap, but if Jesus walks in the room we would hit our knees and worship.

Definitely a thought-provoking book, especially as Bro. Hagin points out that the Lord will not force us to follow His perfect plan for our lives, but will allow us to go our own way - in order to avoid dead-ends and needless frustrations, we need to humbly and intentionally ask Him what it is He wants us to be doing.

Some very insightful comments are also made about the church, worship and prayer. A very good book for a leader or potential leader who's looking to grow in spiritual wisdom.

Brother Hagin was one of the most godly men I have ever known. His life was dedicated to the Word of God. He lived what he preached. This book is one of his most important. In Plans Purposes and Pursuits he shares some revelations that were so important to him that he stated that he would stake his entire ministry on them. He has many,many books in print. His messages and his ministry are legendary. I have never been anywhere in the world where I was not asked if I knew Kenneth Hagin. His ministry has changed literally thousands of lives around the world. I think that the message of this book is crucial to those who want to know and do the will of the Lord in these confusing and tumultuous days. I know of no one else who have lived in this generation who walked with the Lord like Kenneth E. Hagin. My only regret is that many who have read this book have not followed it's directions.
