A nice, brief, inspiring introduction to eating a plant-based diet that includes foods to eat, what not to eat, how to plan your meals and make the transition, available support on line and off, and a few sample recipes to give you an idea of what to expect. (I expect I'll be digging into those desserts...they look delish!)

I found the chapter on how to plan your new meals of great interest. Since you will not be grabbing anything processed, you need to shop and plan your meals to fit with your schedule and your family's needs. Excellent suggestions are given. Foods not included in a plant based diet are meats or meat products, eggs, or dairy, and obviously any processed foods. The author does give you leeway for planned cheats as your diet is highly personal. The ultimate goal, however, is to become strictly plant-based in your eating, but even including more plant based foods in your diet provides benefits.

A really nice introduction to eating plant-based food.

I have been reading a lot in the news about eating organic, juicing, etc.. My doctor even mentioned "eating raw," that last time I was at his office. I decided to look further into it, but needed a guide to help me better understand it all. I picked up a copy of the Plant Based Diet guide, and I'm so glad I did! It answered all my questions and provided me the info I needed! It even includes example recipes of what to expect!

A fantastic Short guide to Healthy Plant eating! I have just started drinking green smoothies to try and help with my Fibromyalgia, and was surprised at how delicious they tasted! I was surprised at the energy I had after drinking them.

I love the recipes, and would recommend this book to anyone, who really wants to take care of their health and feel 100% energised.

I'm very much in favor of eating healthy and this short guide is very handy to refer to when ever you get off track from eating healthy. It has some good advice and tips on how to plan your meals for the week ahead whether you are on a busy schedule or not. It has some delicious recipes for some very healthy looking meals that I would like to try. What I also like about this guide is that it tells you to use the left over from the meal last night so it is not wasted. It is a great guide that I can happily recommend.

I very much found this book to be very informative. The book gave me great ideas of what I can implement to my daily meals.

What I found most helpful was the fact that it also gives you a plan on how to get started with the diet. It gives details on how to plan the week, shop ahead, and utilize certain leftover foods.

I'm very excited to start this diet and keep coming back to it as reference.

Eating a plant based diet seems a rather radical option, but this book effectively makes the case for not only health and weight benefits, but also the accumulating environmental benefits that can obtain from adopting it. The point is made that some people might be happier with only a partially plant based diet and it also explains the difference between a vegetarian and a plant based diet. Some interesting recipes are included, as well as helpful support tips.

I loved this short guide to plant eating! My husband and I have just started drinking green smoothies and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious they tasted! This guide gave us additional recipes and ideas to try. It also explained the reasons why a plant based diet is so healthy. I would recommend purchasing this book for anyone interested in improving their health!
