The publisher suggests that the book will be of interest to researchers, advanced undergraduates and graduate students in the areas of plant pathology, plant physiology and plant biochemistry, and we would agree with this... One asset of the book is the extensive reference lists included in each chapter; these would be very helpful for someone new to the area since they are generally up-to-date and include full titles, enabling informed choices to be made by those wanting to do further reading."
