Not effective in stretch/dorsiflexion,
By John M "jmarovi" (east coast) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Soft Night Splint for Plantar Fasciitis-Small W(5-9) M(6-7) 120 Day Money Back Guarantee (Health and Beauty)
I bought this for a friend with plantar fasciitis. The product did not cause much upward pull on the toe area, so there is little or no dorsiflexion or "stretch" along the bottom of the foot. I tried to connect the straps higher on my friend's leg to get more upward pull, but the product didn't allow that.
As it is, the straps tend to pull on a line along the foot, not from above it. Have a close look at the photo to see what I mean. The product is soft and comfortable and could keep the foot at a 90-degree angle; that is, it could keep the foot from dropping down. |
