What a wonderful book! In a most interesting way, the story of Rachel Todd shows us no matter how bad and terrible our circumstances might be, we can always call on God to help us. When I first started reading her story, I asked myself what would I have done if my husband would have left me for another woman...my first thought would have been to kill him and his lover! but, no! there is a much better way to handle any crisis without ruining your own life. "Planted by the Rivers of Water" shows us the best way to deal with pain and hurt. You just have to read it, I strongly recommend it. I can't hardly wait for the sequel.

Experiance the triumphs and the tragedies of the characters, right through their eyes. A warm, heartfelt novel, touching the lives of someone you know. The story flows well, with lessons to be learned.

Rachel Todd's journey to find herself didn't start until she was forty-seven. A life changing announcement from her husband of over twenty-five years started her on her road to discovery.

She not only discovers her strengths but also her family's strengths. She finds new ways to enjoy life and her family. Her friends support her as she changes where she lives and her lifestyle. She even takes the initiative to start a business that becomes successful. You will enjoy reading her story as she changes into an independent caring and fulfilled woman.

While reading this book you will feel like you are reading someone's personal journal. It is well written with plenty of details on how Rachel comes to the decisions she does. It is also written so you can understand all the characters around her and how they fit or don't fit into her life. An excellent read I was sad to see end!

When I first started reading this book I could not put it down, there was so much drama from the beginning that one chapter wasn't enough per day I had to keep going.I would finally have to cut myself off so that I could get to sleep for work the next day. The charecters were so real that I started to think of them as my friends. As you keep changing chapters the story keeps getting deeper and more emotional a great explanation of strong faith in God. I would definatly read it again.

THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN WITH TRUE FEELING AND INSPIRATION . GAVE YOU HOPE KNOWING THAT THROUGH FAITH AND PRAYER ONE CAN OVERCOME EVEN THE DEEPEST HURTS.

You will become so involved with these characters that you will be tempted to pray for them as friends and family.

This book really opens the eyes of the people reading it. It is written with so much passion that it is impossible to not be apart of it and feel as if you know every character involved! It focuses on the important things throughout all the difficulties and celebrations...GOD! It makes you believe in the power in GOD. If you have forgotten and it, it reminds you, if you didn't know to begin with, it shares a lot of worthy information that causes you to ask questions and hopefully start to believe in the miracles and powers that GOD has. I thought it was excellent and I will read it over and over until the sequel comes out-I have to find out what happens!

This is a story of an amazing woman named Rachel who through lifes trials and tribulations never loses her focus on God's plan for her life. She is someone that all may learn from and or relate to in some way. Plus, the story line and characters keep your attention and you just can't wait to read what delicious food will be introduced next! It's a must read!
