5.0 out of 5 stars as advertised
How wonderful to to be able to enjoy a great roasted nuts mix with out all the salt. Both my husband and I enjoy them much more than salted nuts, they seemed fresher, and are far better health wise. Only regret; Should have ordered more.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too much peanuts
I usually get mixed nuts with no peanuts, but I got these to try because they were the only unsalted ones I could find. I can't say that I will get these again because theres just way too much peanuts! It seemed like a can of peanuts with some other nuts sprinkled in. Not really worth it for the price. The nuts were fresh though, so if you don't mind peanuts then...

5.0 out of 5 stars Planters unsalted mixed nuts, 11.5 oz. x 4 cans, October 31, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
They arrived today (10/31/07) with exp. 19 JUL 09. Unsalted may not be tasty but healthier! Ingredients: Peanuts, cashews, almonds, brazil nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts (filberts), peanut and/or cottonseed oil. In terms of weight, he amount of each kind of nuts is pretty even. You will see more peanuts because they are smaller than any other kinds of nuts. Because of the unsalted, they will be great for baking!

5.0 out of 5 stars Less than 50% Peanuts...by volume, May 3, 2011

Overall these nuts are great - I like them since their unsalted and I can eat them without my lips feeling sore. I've read all the comments about there being too many peanuts which I think can be attributed to the following factors:

1. It's less than 50% peanuts by volume. Seeing as cashews, almonds and walnuts are 4x the size of a peanut, there's still going to be a LOT number of peanuts.
2. If you don't look, reach in, and grab a handful of nuts, most the peanuts will probably fall through your fingers and you'll end up with a can of peanuts by the end of the can.

I only purchased this Planters Mixed Nuts since they are unsalted and my personal favorite Planters Deluxe Mixed Nuts is salted (Sea Salt). This unsalted mixed nuts to me still has a lot of peanuts even when the package is labeled "less than 50% peanuts", but I'm spoiled after having their deluxe mixed nuts with no peanuts. Finally, I mix in M&M's to any of the Planters nuts for a great snack while watching TV for a good source of protein.

5.0 out of 5 stars Planter's Unsalted Mixed Nuts, April 21, 2010

I have been ordering these nuts for the past year and a half from Amazon because they are not available in the grocery stores where I live (unsalted). The product has always arrived fresh and shipping takes about 2 days. The price is much lower than the salted cans that are available most everywhere. I now receive them through Amazon's automatic subscription plan......so ez, so much healthier......I love it.

UPDATE: Amazon has recently canceled subscriptions for this item and increased the price by $25. I thought that was a whopping and unfair increase but Amazon's customer service said that the increase comes from high demand for the item. UNBELIEVEABLE! The peanuts can be purchased at mygolfer dotcom for $3 per can or locally at KMart stores.

I must agree with another reviewer that there certainly SEEMS to be more than 50% peanuts in the mix. The nuts are fresh and the unsalted taste is great, but I wish there was a mix that left out the peanuts entirely. Just too many peanuts for my taste and the price.

Great product and price. I cannot find unsalted nuts in stores where I live. I get these from Amazon delivered right to my door and they are less expensive than when I do find them at stores. Great!

5.0 out of 5 stars What can I say it's Planters, June 7, 2009

I find that it is cheaper than buying this item at my local grocery store (unless on sale), I prefer unsalted nuts and the store had 1 11.5 ounce can for $6.89. I got 4 can for about 4.50 each item and it was free to ship. I love Planters products. I have brought store brand products and sometimes they are not as fresh or take funny. Maybe it's just my taste buds.

These are very good nuts but are claimed to be less than 50% peanuts. I'm not about to sort and count, but in my opinion, it sure doesn't seem like it.
