I like the Plantronics CS50 headset, but the over-the-head band that came with the unit was very cumbersome and difficult to adjust. Also, there was no padding on the ear, and it became irritating after awhile. The behind-the-ear device did not work well because I wear glasses.

This Uniband replacement is the way to go. It includes two pads for the ear: one of foam and one with a "leatherette" cushion. I can put it on or take it off quickly. My ear cartilage does get a bit sore eventually because of my glasses, so I often leave the whole thing on the charging stand. When I receive a call, I can pick it up and put it on so quickly that I do not have to wear it overlong. Highly recommended over the original equipment.

I bought this to replace the stock ear wraparound because I found that my ear would start hurting after minutes of wearing that device. This makes the device so pleasant to use and I can talk on it for pretty much any extended period of time that I've come across. It also fits nicely on the charger while attached to this headband.

more comfortable than the over the ear holder, but does not position the mouth piece as well. I am going to keep using it because of the comfort, but I really do wish it allowed you to adjust the movement of the boom from side to side instead of just up and down. It sits too close to my face and rubs on my cheek or actually gets in front of the air coming out of my mouth, either of which provides for sounds getting send over phone calls I would prefer I was not sending. Neither of these are issues with the over the ear holder. But that one hurts your ear after a few hours.

I bought this headset to go with the CS55 wireless earpiece I have. Now everyone in the office wants one! The headset is lightweight and much more comfortable than the clip over the ear style we had before, which kept falling out. I bought this with the handset lifter adapter as well (which after modification works good), combined they work great.

Simply wore out the first headband from use over the past couple of years .... This replacement part was a perfect replacement.

I bought this headband to replace one I had been using for at least 5 years. The old one worked fine until the band cracked and I replaced it with this new one. So far, so good.

It replaces the orginal headband, and is plantronics branded, that came with my CS50-USB. The headset mounts closer to my face but with the ear cushion installed it doesn't touch my face. A good inexpensive replacement headband.

This worked perfectly for my headset and buying this saved me a lot of money.
I would recommend shopping on Amazon for repair parts. Great selection, resonalble prices.

I bought this not realizing that the cs50-USB headset came with more than just an ear clip so I have not yet used it. It is in my supplies cabinet in case the one that came with my headset breaks
