I work as the technical adviser/ mechanic for a very busy automotive salvage yard, with 4 phone lines constantly ringing and a steady stream of customers. We have 4 Plantronics headsets- 3 CS50s and a CS55. Our office staff all use these headsets so that they can move about and answer calls without being tied to the counter. The range is phenomenal- I, in particular often need to go outside to our production area and to the yard, and even when I'm over 200 feet away from the base unit with several concrete and steel walls in between, the sound quality is great. These units also seem to stand up well to abuse- I often use mine while diagnosing vehicle problems and while repairing equipment, and it's gotten grease on it, gotten wet, been dropped, gets used in very cold and hot environments, and is generally mishandled, yet it continues to work flawlessly. My only complaint about it is the over- the- ear clips. they are very uncomfortable for the first few weeks of use. After that, they do seem to mold to your ear, and the discomfort eventually goes away. Also, the handset lifter can be a little bit difficult to adjust just right, and we ended up having the tape the bottom of the handsets to the phone so that they'd release properly. However, I can let that slide, since there's really no other way to make a device that can automatically lift a phone receiver that isn't designed to be automatically lifted. Overall, this is a very high quality product, and definitely has me convinced. when I purchase a bluetooth headset for my cell phone in the near future, it will certainly be a Plantronics headset.

I am extremely happy with both the sound quality and the range from base on this set. The freedom of not being wired to the phone & headset base it great. My only complaint is that the "over the ear" pieces are very hard & uncomfortable -- there are several sizes but after a couple of hours, all earpieces are terribly uncomfortable (and I am someone that has worn over the ear headsets for 10+ years). I finally switched to the "over the head" attachment, which has a nice, padded earpiece and it solved the problem. I usually don't like headbands but this one is very lightweight & doesn't mess up my hair. I would have given this 5 stars if they had figured out how to make a comfortable earpiece.

This is a great headset designed with everything you need for such a device. Buttons both on the base and the headset are easily accessible and use. The voice quality is outstanding and people I spoke to on this wireless headset said the voice quality is similar to that of a wired headset. I do have one issue with the first unit I received from Amazon, it was not working properly. However, Amazon was quick to replace it with another unit which has been working perfectly for a couple of months now. I'll come back to Amazon for my future buys.

Our office staff absolutley loves these! We are on the phone the entire day and use these to the max. The CS55 with the lifter makes my job a lot easier beacause it allows me to walk around the entire office without any interferance. The battery lasts all day as well. The headset is lightweight and really comfortable. I also bought one for home so I can talk and continue working with my hands.

This headset has very good sound quality, and is somewhat comfortable to wear. My only complaint is the difficulty setting the microphone volume so that the people you are speaking to can hear you loud enough without me hearing a very distracting echo in my ear. I have had this unit for about 4 weeks now and I still find myself messing with the volume control daily.

This device has worked out really well for me. I'm using the over the head configuration which is better for me than the over the ear option. It does not sit real secure on my ear and can fall off if I bend over. Other than that it is comfortable and allows me complete freedom. I can even take the dog outside and still answer calls. I've had no complaints from people I talk to regarding sound quality and I'm satisfied with the sound quality on my side. A little pricy but Amazon had the best price.

Very conveinent to use in the office. The ear loops are not real comfortable but the sound quality really is amazing! I am going to buy 3 more, so that shows I would recommend this product.

The CS55/HL10 Bundle is the way to go. I run a small medical clinic and am on the phone several hours a day. With the bundle, I can answer the phone from anywhere in the clinic, pull charts, and get back to speak with the staff . . . all with great clarity and excellent reception. A great tool for responsive customer service! I will be buying another bundle shortly for another staff member in the office!

this is about the 4th headset of these I've ordered and I have 0 complaints. I order them for work for those who need to be on calls but can't be restrained by a phone cord. I ordered this for one of employees in the Israel office on a Tuesday because he would be in the US on that next Monday. I was scared that it wouldn't be in by Monday, but it came that Friday! So it worked out perfectly. I think the range is good if you are being realistic. Will it work if your on another floor? Probably not. But will work if you are 50 to 100 feet away, YEA! our receptionist has one and she can walk around a bit and receive calls. If you are not near the phone, and you get a call, a beep comes in on the headset to notify you there's a call. Than you press the little button on the set, your phone lifts and the call is answered, and you can hang up the call from the set itself.

only con is that the lift sometimes gets stuck as your ending your call, and you might need to help it close the phone- just push the phone down- so that the call is ended.

I have purchased this item many times over the past three years for different locations I manage. It is reliable and adds to employee efficiency.
