Works perfect,

I can't tell you how many times I play SOCOM and see someone trying to use a mic that doesn't work. This one is perfect, I hear clearly, and my mates hear me fine. I paid a bit more so I could get the built in adapter piece, that extra large part that plugs in which you have to buy seperate with the other sets. I thought the logitech/ sony ones were a bit clunky as well. The clip-on part of the buds can be a bit awkward at first, but they are effective enough you keep you hearing well. I can find nothing wrong with this set, in terms of price or functionality. If you want a more unqiue headset, and would rather buy the whole shebang one time, rather than multiple parts for others, this one is for you.

Only for old PSP FAT - Not new PSP Slim!,

First off I should say, the headset itself works fine in the older PSP Fat, problem is I found this headset by searching amazon with the keys words "PSP skype", looking for something to use with skype on my psp slim. Well, the ports are different between the older and newer model PSP's, and this most definitely will NOT work on the new PSP. Shouldn't even be associated with skype then since the old PSP's don't even have skype!

I guess if U really need it, this product is at best okay. It works. However, the volume at its highest setting was still too low. Hearing ability may differ. Also, the fit on or around the ear was weird. The product was not for Me, Simplicity please.

Warning: This product does NOT fit the PSP 2000 (slim) as stated otherwise in one of these reviews. At least, the one I received was designed for the older PSP, which has a different connector. It would be nice if this was made clear in the product description. I gave it 3 stars because I had to rate it to post, but since I can't actually use the product I can't be sure whether it might be better or worse than that.

I'd recently upgraded my PSP firmware to allow for Skype usage, and bought these as the product description said they'd work on the new PSP-2000... which they do, but not for Skype. The only use this product has is for in-game talking, such as SOCOM - nothing else. I can't even believe someone's tagged this product as Skype - it doesn't work with Skype! Amazon should edit this listing, it's misleading.

Work great with the PSP 2000, I like it better then the factory head set. Mic works good with the Skype.
