Great idea, poor implementation,
By cub in austin (TX) - See all my reviews I was excited when I saw this headset. It combines the in-ear headphones I prefer with the convenience of bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately, the implementation is poor. The first thing you notice is that the earbuds don't fit properly, no matter which of their "included" eartips you use. The reason for this is the eartip material. It is so thin that it doesn't fit snugly into the ear. The weight of the cord alone is enough to deform it and defeat the noise isolating aspect of the headset. I corrected this by using the eartips from my Shure e2c's. The next thing you notice, however, is that the cord between the earpieces and the pendant are too long. If I wanted a cord to hang down past my belt (and I am over 6' ), I wouldn't be using bluetooth. It just plain gets in the way, unless you run it under your shirt- but then you can't properly use the pendant. The third thing you notice is that the cord of the right earpiece is twice as long as the left. This would be okay, except that the extra length adds weight, which give me a slightly off balance feeling... and it gets in the way. Then you start using it, and find a static/hissing whenever they are one. Whether playing music or talking on the phone, they hiss. It is less noticable with music as it covers up the sound (to a degree), but is annoying as heck when talking. Picture a mistuned AM station. I bought these thinking I would love them. I even bought a bluetooth transmitter for my ipod so I could use it with these, but I was disappointed, i returned mine in less than a week, Plantronics did get one thing right - they use a mini-usb type connector to charge this thing, so I can just plug it into any usb port to recharge. So many other manufacturers use proprietary jacks, which just leads to more cables on your desk. i will probably check out the next generation of these.

Worked well, for about a month,
This review is from: Plantronics Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset (Electronics)
Good Idea, if it would have worked for longer than a month! Also, it has a smaller ear phone jack than normal headphones so if you dont want to use the ones provided you have to go out and buy and adapter. I ordered one of the internet and by the time it arrived the pulsar headset had died.
Oh well, better luck next time!

Would be great if it worked,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Range from phone is measurable in inches. Drops conneciton all the time. Also appears that the headset's state for muting the music can be easily confused. Frequently when I would use voice command or receive a call the music would go silent and, when it should have come back on played briefly then gone silent again. Subsequent presses of the play button would switch between muted and music playing or unmuted and music stopped (with brief overlaps in each direction where it was both unmuted and the music was playing.) Don't buy this.
