5.0 out of 5 stars excellent - all that's needed for the unit to keep on working
Frequently people will replace the entire cordless phone system instead of replacing the battery because they don't realize. This is all that's needed and a lot less expensive!

3.0 out of 5 stars Battery Design Fragile, July 12, 2007
This review is from: Plantronics Replacement Battery for CA10 Cordless Amplifier and CS10 Cordless Headset (Electronics)
While I have appreciated the mobility of the LKA10 Headset, the delicate plastic hinges that attach the battery to the headset dialing box are very fragile if the unit slips from your clothing and falls or is bumped. A 3' tumble from my desk that doesn't harm my mobile phone has completely shattered this integral connection piece making the unit unusable until I purchased another replacement battery unit. So far I've bought three over a two year period - well before any of the batteries showed any sign of wearing down. To me this is a hidden cost due to a design flaw that reduces the LKA10 Cordless Headset's value significantly for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars Double the previous price, January 9, 2010
By
This review is from: Plantronics Replacement Battery for CA10 Cordless Amplifier and CS10 Cordless Headset (Electronics)
The $50 price is double what Plantronics used to charge for this battery pack. But, since Plantronics has discontinued support of the CS10 headset, including replacement battery packs, you either pay this price, or... order three AAA solder tab lithium ion rechargeable batteries from All Electronics, at a cost of $2.50 each. Then, rebuild the battery pack. You can open up the battery pack case using a hacksaw without too much difficulty, then replace the three in-series AAA cells. Bingo, a rebuilt battery pack that should last for about five years, the same life I have gotten from the OEM (but no longer available) battery packs. So, if you have moderate or better electronic skills, consider rebuilding this battery pack rather than paying more than double what it used to cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Off-brand battery but works fine, January 30, 2012

The batteries I received were not Plantronics as the listing leads you to believe. I received a Cameron Sino CS-PLS10SL. The battery still fits fine, actually a little more snug than the Plantronics batteries which is good I guess.

3.0 out of 5 stars plantronics battery, June 1, 2008

It's a battery... what can I say? The old one was many years old and didn't hold a charge. This one is new and works as I would expect. Would have been nice if it were updated to a lithium technology. It's still nicad.
