Plantronics Savor M1100 Bluetooth Headset
Three Microphones to Capture Your Natural Voice
The Savor sports a unique V-frame design with three synchronized mics strategically placed to best capture your voice. The addition of a third, noise-activated microphone better isolates your voice for a more natural sound without the need for a long boom.
The AudioiQ3 technology with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) further reduces background noise and enables clear conversations between you and your listener.
Voice Commands for Hands-Free Operation
With voice-activation technology, you can answer calls without lifting a finger. Simply say "answer" to pick up an incoming call, or press the dedicated voice button for a host of other convenient commands, such as "pair mode," "redial," "cancel," or "call information."
Using this feature, you can access Plantronics Vocalyst hands-free text and audio email service, or Microsoft's Bing 411 service for traffic, weather, sports, news, and other updates.
One-Year Free Subscription to Vocalyst
The Savor package includes a free, one-year subscription to Plantronics Vocalyst (service in USA only), which provides you with a variety of voice and text services that you can access directly from the headset. With Vocalyst, you can use simple voice commands to have your emails, text messages, or Twitter feed read aloud to you, and even send text replies while you're listening. And if you want to record a reminder for yourself, Vocalyst can send it to you as an audio email.
NOTE: Vocalyst's email services are supported by Gmail, AOL, and Yahoo. The text feature works with Blackberry and Android smart phones.
Voice and Visual Alerts
Enhanced voice alerts such as "phone connected," "low battery," "talk time X hours," and "pairing" take out the guesswork of managing calls or keeping track of the headset's battery level. Additionally, built-in software enables you to monitor the headset's battery level on your iPhone.
Stream Music and More from Your Mobile Phone
Supporting the Bluetooth A2DP profile, Savor lets you stream music, podcasts, audiobooks, GPS directions, and more wirelessly from your A2DP-enabled mobile phone right to the headset.
Comfy Ear Tips and a Lightweight Construction
The Savor package includes soft, flexible, silicone gel ear tips in three different sizes, along with an optional earloop for multiple wearing options--providing you with the ideal fit, with or without glasses.
The compact, lightweight design and in-ear wearing style let you put on the headset quickly and easily when a call comes in.
Experience up to four hours of talk time and seven days of standby time, and preserve the battery power by using the dedicated on/off switch.
The Plantronics Savor M1100 is backed by a one-year limited warranty.

I thought what I was looking for was simple... I just needed a bluetooth headset that I could use with my computer for Communicator/Live Meeting Conferences and with my phone for regular calls when not using the computer. In addition to conference meetings on my phone, A2DP allows the headset to replace the laptop speakers with normal sound quality, which is why it was a must... for watching the occasional youtube video while working :)..
I think that Plantronics has the best sound quality... which is why I was sooo disappointed when the 975 did not have A2DP.
The Plantronics M1100 has solved this problem... no connection issues, A2DP, great sound quality, great noise cancelling, very slim, great fit and look! Finally I've found the perfect bluetooth headset for my needs... the M1100 great features too, which was an added bonus.. the voice controls are really nice... and although, i probably wont use it, but the Vocalyst feature is very nice...Read more ›
* Call Clarity
I have asked about 20 people how I sounded while talking to them, most of which were in different environments - driving the car on the hiqhway, outside near traffic, in a crowded grocery store, even at a football game. All of the people said they could hear me clearly and it did not sound like I was in a tin can. On my end of the phone, everyone also sounded great. Just as they would as if I were using my handset alone
* Ease of use
Pairing this headset was easier then any prior headset. All I did was turn it on and set my Blackberry to Pair and boom, I was done. It didn't even ask for a passcode. I should add to this, that I LOVE the fact that the On/Off switch is an ACTUAL SLIDING SWITCH. Just like a classic light switch you easily know if you have your device on or off. I hated past headsets (Jawbone) that forced me to hold down a button for 3 seconds or otherwise. Plus these button style headsets always seemed to turn on in my bag and my headset would be dead when I needed it.
It seems to have all the typical features in a couple of buttons. Easy to reach volume button and an easy to reach call/hang up button. For things like redial you have to double tap the call button and for mute you hold down the volume button - this is pretty standard for most headsets.Read more ›
One other nit, although I'm not sure whether it's something most headsets have in common, is that if you reach up to adjust the earpiece, the "terminate call" button is dead-center and easy to push, so I frequently terminate calls on accident. Basically it happens every time I touch the earpiece (and I'm trying to train myself out of doing that!) but I've accidentally killed the call as many as 6 times during a single meeting, which is really obnoxious (they were large group meetings where it didn't really matter, but still!). So I recommend caution and giving yourself time to get through that learning curve before using the headset on any call where that would be a problem.
