Before purchasing this bluetooth headset, I was always of the mindset that there was no bluetooth headset on the market good enough for the critical consumer. This device proved me wrong. I have been through at least 3 prior headsets before this, each hoping that I would be proven wrong. I constantly encountered problems with clarity on incoming calls and static on outgoing calls where people would tell me that I sounded muffled. I gave up on bluetooth headsets for about 3 years until recently because I have begun traveling quite a bit, causing me to talk on the phone a lot more. So I did the research and took the plunge with this device.

This device has been awesome so far. The battery came fully charged. I have made over 20 calls with this now and there have been no complaints about the sound quality. I even walked into a subway where it is like a wind tunnel when the subway comes through the tunnel, and I can still hear the caller with clarity. The dual mic technology is fantastic in cancelling noise, especially wind, and I have been able to walk around my house without any noise distortion. This thing is great. Take the plunge like me, you won't regret it.

I have had this headset for a few months and has performed very well. I am using it with an iPhone 3GS. Battery life, call clarity on both ends and comfort have all been excellent. Very easy to use and pair. Highly recommeded.

I wanted it after I saw the video on how it was made. I chose it for it's noise canceling capabilities. I can't believe how great it actually works! Seriously, I am a hard sell, rarely satisfied. But this is one of those rare times.

I was walking down a windy street and left my best friend a message to test the sound quality. He forwarded me the voice message so that I could hear it myself. WOW! I could barely hear the wind in spots. I was blown away.

And now, I can talk on the phone in my car on the freeway and people can hear me over the car/road noise. And I can hear people - easily.

I'm very impressed. The talk time and the standby time are nice.

I was a little disappointed that the company I bought it from didn't say that they were selling wholesale products so it didn't come with all the different sized ear buds. They were, however, nice enough to refund partial payment in the amount of the replacement buds.

All-in-all I have been extremely happy with my purchase!

This is the best Bluetooth headset I have ever used! I have bought 5 others over the years. I am in sales so quality of performance and functionality both matter very much to me. Whenever I used previous units, people always commented that I sounded like I was talking into a tin can. The quality of the sound was not satisfactory. With this unit, people don't even know that I am using Bluetooth! Sound quality is excellent for both listening and talking. It is also very comfortable to wear. I frequently put mine on in the morning and don't take it off until quitting time. Battery life and quality of sound are both excellent! I like it so much that I bought a second for my home phone. I will never hold a handset to my ear again!

I really like working with a blue-tooth headset and have had at least a half a dozen different ones over the years - most recently the Aliph Jawbone II. Many of my business associates use blue-tooth earpieces as well and are accustomed to the poor sound quality. However, I routinely got complaints about poor sound quality and was often asked to switch to the handset. The Plantronics Voyager Pro is the first ear piece I have had with audio quality as good or better than a handset.

The only negative I can think of is that boom microphone is long and you have to be careful when transporting the ear piece. I am on my second one because I broke the boom of my first one carrying it in my pocket. Adding a carrying case, which I see Plantronics did with the new Discovery 975, would be a good idea.

I have had many blue-tooth products over the years. None to my satisfaction. A friend recommend this one and I am very pleased that I purchased it. Battery life is good and it seems to work in all conditions. It is easy to turn on and off and adjust volume.

A reasonable balance of cost/performance I am quite happy with this product.
Some people say my voice is clear on the phone, others say it's not so this could be as much to do with the connection quality as the headset.

Other thoughts: The battery life is just OK, if you are planning to be on the phone all day, you may want to look for something with a longer battery life.

sound quality is good, but the it's the size of a 2x4 and bulky; also it turns off automatically and is VERY difficult to turn it back on - i'm constantly turning it back on all day - BIG HASSLE

I have had several plantronics 510 model. I find the pro voyager is much superior due to its clairity. The noise cancelling works great and the unit is more sturdy. Very good buy.

This is the best bluetooth i have ever owned. I sometimes ride the bus to and from work and can carry on a normal conversation without asking "what did you say". Best on the market!!
