Bibhas De is a physicist by vocation and holds a Ph. D. in Applied Physics from the University of California, San Diego. He grew up in Assam and West Bengal in India, and came to the US after receiving his Bachelor's Degree.
The author's avocation includes writing poetry, stories and even a biographical account of his great-uncle Swami Gambhirananda, a noted Indian monk and scholar.
