I've only had this hose for a few months, but I am very happy with it so far. It is replacing a traditional water hose, which was always a pain to take out, use, then stow away again. All of these hassles have now been completely eliminated. The Plastair hose straightens out very easily and, as it is designed to do, coils back without any problems. It's very lightweight to boot. Water pressure is fine, too, although I imagine with a longer hose, there might be some issues with adequate pressure, especially for washing cars and such.

Unlike coiled hoses that you find in Target or Walmart, however, the Plastair is a bit thicker and, despite its light weight, does seem a bit more durable--although, I cannot say for sure how durable the hose will be since I've had for such a short time. I should emphasize that I do not use the hose a lot. I got the coiled type assuming that it was best for light duty watering/gardening. If I needed a heavy use hose, I might have gotten something else.

One more thing: the 25 foot hose is really only useful for very small areas. My garden is quite small and it's the perfect size. But, if I had a larger garden, then I would definitely go with the 50-foot or even 75-foot version. (The same goes for using the hose to wash a car--25-feet is too short.)

This is my second coil hose in the last 10 years. This one is far superior to the other brand I purchased. DO NOT purchase the cheap ones with plastic ends. Great water flow and top-quality construction. However, I am disappointed that the 25' hose only extends 21'. I need the extra 4' to reach the end of my yard!

I would say the hose itself is very sturdy and flexible. Unfortunately the connectors on each end are a little weak and flimsy. It is not of sturdy metal. It looks like it's made of aluminum. The connections are not tight and leakage can occur. I now have to go out to buy some plumbing tape to prevent as much water leakage as possible.

We purchased this hose to hook up and water plants on our deck. It is absolutely perfect for that purpose.We had purchased one from a different source several years and this one is just so much more durable. Worth the price!

I got fed up with the hose reel, so I purchased the first one. When I needed another hose for the small garden and flowers out back, I bought this second one.

This is great. No problems with the connections being lose or anything. It's sturdy and works. I probably should have gotten the longer one, but this has made gardening so much easier. I hated coiling the regular hose.

This hose is serving the exact purpose we bought it for. The fact that it is a coil hose allows for it to store in a small space outside and it is handy to use.

If you have a patio and have a water spicket (spigot) available, this is a perfect self-winding hose. However, I wouldn't want to see it fully extended :)

"DeLuxe", but they didn' want to use brass fittings. They did save $ : MINE, because I'll never get this brand again.

We finally threw in the towel on our garden hoses that kept getting trashed, and purchased two of these (one 25' and one 50') earlier this summer. We love them. No kinks, no tangles, no need to wrap up the hose every time you use it. I store it against the house in a semi-rounded wrought iron planter - perfect!

One note: the length of the hose is deceiving. Due to the coil it doesn't actually reach as far as the length might indicate. Go for a bigger length if you are on the fence about sizing.
