4.0 out of 5 stars Good while it lasted
Good for the purpose needed but did not last long. Do not expect long term usage.

This product is constructed well for the price, but it is difficult to get your head through the opening at the neck. This product is constructed well for the price, but it is difficult to get your head through the opening at the neck. It would have been better had they used a snap or two to allow you to control the size of the opening. Once you do manage to get your head through the opening provided it is very uncomfortable to wear because it feels like you are choking. I wear a medium size hat and so I would have to say that for most people this opening would be insufficient. Other wise the construction is excellent, especially for this price point and the colors are very attractive. We are now in "Rainy Season" and I bought these for my husband and I for when we are out walking our dogs (who also have slickers and hate them as I suspect most dogs do so we just go out without them when it is drizzling so they don't get too wet). It would be very nice if this company would consider restructuring this product to produce a larger neck opening or include snaps on the top portion so this can be adjusted (and charge a little more to cover the cost of the additional materials)as it is other wise a great product.

The poncho is lightweight and compact. The hood is a little snug and I'm a small person, so bear that in mind. It worked like a charm on a recent trip.
