It did exactly what I hoped. Where I work there is a lawn service that comes by and when they mow they seem to have absolutely no respect for the cars that are parked because the debris is shot out directly at the cars. That's how I got a chip in my paint which started to show signs of rust. After using this the rust turned black and there hasn't been any signs of rust spreading.

Stuff works great. My only very minor complaint would be that it dries black, so you have to use a couple of thick coats of paint over it if you are painting a light color. Happy a product like this exists.

I've used this on several projects now and it worked as advertised for me - that is, once it has dried (usually overnight) it converts the rust to a smooth primer-like black coating that can be lightly sanded and re-primed.

A little goes a long way - I wasn't sure if the smaller bottle would be enough for my project but I've now completed three projects and still have over 1/2 of the bottle left.

I followed the directions by cleaning the rust spots on my car. I applied the product and the rust turned black as promised. I then allowed it to dry and painted primer on it.
However today I noticed there is rust forming under the primer. This is a month and a half later.

It really didn't work for me. I was trying to get rid of rust on galvanized pipe. All it did was get slimy. I don't think it was the product's fault. It was my trying to use it for something different than it was designed for.

This is my first time using the product. It applied well and looks really nice. I used it on the bottom of my car doors (which were beginning to rust). It will be interesting to see how it holds up through the upcoming winters.
