Plastic Porsche Description,

The Plastic Porsche story started in the early 1960's when Porsche decided to change the body design of their race cars. Starting with the 904 GTS, The "last true GT racer" they produced their race cars with plastic bodies, but, the story only starts there. This video takes the viewer through the history of the Porsche race cars that established their legend in racing. We've found these cars as they looked in their prime, restored and racing today. The 904 GTS, 906 Carrera 6, 910, 907 Langhek (longtail) & the 908, predecessor to the legendary 917. You will see these cars up close and even some incar of the 910 & 906 fighting it out at the track. There are interviews that reveal insights and little known facts about the development and fielding of these cars Most of all, you will see these beautiful cars and appreciate them as we did.The sounds and the sight of them is truly awesome.
