great product for us vinyl lovers...,

This review is from: 100 White Plastic Lined Paper Replacement Innersleeves with Window for 12" Vinyl Records #12IA - Prevent Paper Scratches & Protect Against Dust! (Polylined, Albums / Inner Sleeves) (Electronics)
If you're like me, you never gave away your vinyl record albums. There they sat, away in the closet for quite a few years--until recently when I started taking them out, dusting them off and discovering that some of my favorite music never made it to CD. Therefore, I actually BOUGHT record albums over the last year. They are a nice value for getting new music into the house--and these paper protectors for the vinyl record albums really help protect them.
A lot of time when I purchased records at flea markets they only came with the cardboard record jacket; this made me concerned that the actual records themselves were not sufficiently protected against dust and other elements. These paper sleeves are actually rather well made and they protect my cherished record albums very well. The plastic inner lining also protects your records from light scratches or scuff marks that a regular, unlined paper sleeve can cause. The paper sleeves always fit easily into the cardboard record album jacket; and these can be great when you don't have ANY jacket to keep the record album in. I usually place the record in such a way that although it's covered by the paper sleeve I can just pull it out of the sleeve and the jacket. Other people may prefer to have the open slit of the paper sleeve facing away from the outer slit of the record jacket for even better protection of their vinyl. I can't really think of any downside to these paper record albums sleeves with their excellent plastic lining. They do a wonderful job of protecting your vinyl. The window lets you see the record label very easily.

These are only marginally useful. Sleeves are not flat but wavy, making it difficult to put the records back in the jacket. I would not purchase these again.

Ok, a little insight as to how I got to this point in life.
I decided to redo my computer room and cover the walls with LP album covers from the late 60's - early 80's. As I started picking up more and more covers my son (thanks son) said "you know it's a waste that you have all of these albums that's going to be stuck on the wall and never listened to. You know the sound quality of albums far outshines the CD's (true or not I don't know, but I fell for it hook, line, and a Audio Technica AT-LP2DUSB LP-to-Digital Recording System with USB and a Logitech S220 2.1 Speaker System). At any rate, now with these plastic lined paper inner sleeves I can put the albums in them to listen to and put the LP covers with thier original inner sleeves on the wall. Now for my review. While they will probably serve to keep lint and dust off the LP's, they are a gnats hair from covering the LP on one side of the lip and about 5/16" shy of covering the LP on the other lip. It doesn't make alot of sence to me, why they are so short (perhaps to save 3 forests in Brazil, I don't know) ?? As previously mentioned they are wavy as opposed to flat, which is not as distracting as the shortness of the open end. They were shipped fast so that is a Plus, but if I need any more in the future I'll look for another product. Hope that helps someone.
