I LOVED This Film! I used to drive my Co-workers Crazy playing it in the Video Store! The story of a Violent Poet & Disenfranchised Mime! Don't forget Golden WhiteBoy or the CorduroyBoy! An absolutley Independent Feature with an Incredible originality in terms of Story, Characters, Music, & literally Execution! I can't wait for these boy's next Opus, I hope it is very soon! SEARCH for it in better video establishments!

this film was probably one of the most hilarious things i have ever taken the time to watch. i don't think that it's fair to anyone to not see this...

I have been working the movie scene here in Austin for more than five years now, and as a result I have seen many a strange thing that someone has wished to preserve on film for one reason or another. I have seen movies which are so terrible, that they make 'Ishtar' and 'Manos: Hands Of Fate', seem like pure art.

Then I saw Plastic Utopia. I am so glad that people like the Zellner brothers exist. People who can make a movie that reaches forward with a pair of rusty pliers, grabs you by the scrotum and makes you laugh your butt off. This film was funny, oddball, zany, madcap humor which would make the boys of Monty Python stand up and cheer while throwing raw chickens at a cartoon elephant that's eating london. I honestly cannot wait till their next production.
