Ladies - give this as a random gift to your husband/boyfriend and when you give it to him, whisper in his ear, "You are my Superman!"... and trust me, he will take out the garbage for at least a week, pick up his junk for two weeks, wash your car at least once... heck he might even go shopping with you just so he can show off his new keychain... and chances are he will do anything else you would want from Superman. Not a bad investment! Worked on me!

Ok, guess I should review the product. Logo is made of rubber. Seems to hold up well to abuse, etc - like getting washed in the washing machine - hey who was I to know that you have to check the pants pockets for stuff before washing them? - I was only volunteering to do the wash this one time! The colors stay intact. Not much else I can say.

Note to ladies above: Clark Kent/Superman is not one for engaging in deep conversation - so don't expect him to become your best friend due to this - even super heros (and most men) have limits!

I ordered this on a whim, while I was ordering a set of Superman floor mats for my car. And for a couple bucks, I figured there was no harm in trying. I just got it this morning, and these are my first impressions...

First, it's a nice size... Neither too big, nor too small. It measures just over 1.5" from the top of the shield to the point, and just over 2.25" from the left to right edges. So, it's convenient to have in your pocket, or as a dangle on a backpack, etc.

It's made of a soft, plyable rubber, so it's not too hard. I was concerned that it would be hard and the sharp points would snag, but that is not the case. But, it's firm enough to hold its shape well. The front colors are vibrant, and don't scratch off. The back is plain black, with no logos. The other silver key chain I saw here said the copyright logo is on the back, but not on this one, which I like. It appears to be durable, and seems like it will hold up well to normal keychain/dongle abuse.

The actual keyring where you attach your keys is the perfect size, thick, sturdy, and tight. I like it a lot. Not chincy like another generic ring I've been using. And the small metal ring that attaches the keyring to the logo is also think and sturdy. So, you don't have to worry about the logo and keyring separating. And the small clip that you can use to attach it as a dongle to a backpack or something is also very tight and sturdy. Overall, very well constructed.

So, with that said... I'm impressed. I was expecting it would be cheaper and more flimsy, but it's not. It's very well put together and I'm very happy with it. I'm glad I got the red and blue one instead of the silver one. The colors really pop, and I think it makes a great conversation starter. I can imagine a lot of people commenting on it.

I have this key chain on my work jacket and it's a great ice breaker at work. Pleople that don't normally talk say cool Superman zipper and the next thing you know they are chatting away.

This is more than just a keychain. It's a way of life!

J/K. Anyway, this is a cool keychain. It's rubbery and bendable but should last a while. If you like Superman then you should definitely be pleased. My friend at work is gonna be so jealous when he sees it! LOL

This is a very nice key chain. The material (rubber) is sturdy and it feels smooth, it's not a cheap plastic thing. If you want a small and inexpensive superman gift, this is perfect.

Arrived in mint condition and my motorcycling husband loves it! He's into the Superman stuff and loved the plastisol material as it doesn't scratch/dent his bike when he rides.

i'd recommend it... i've had to buy a couple of these, but i wouldn't say they broke due to quality issues, but just over a few years of good use. the plastic quality is very good, it's flexible, but not floppy. i think these guys also make one in a black and white superman logo, something else to consider too

Ordered this for my 16 yr old daughter with a Superman obsession. Its pretty sturdy rubber and can also be used as a zipper pull.

I am very happy with my purchase of the Superman Plastisol Key Chain. Rather than attach it to my already (some say) overloaded keyring, I wear it on a lanyard around my neck as a pendant. The material of which it is made is light, and hopefully won't fade with age as most plastic products do.

LOVE the SUPERMAN key chain! Bought a few of them, for myself and for gifts! Love them!
