Only negative is that it comes covered in stickers that took about 10 minutes and plenty of goo-gone to remove. Frustrating. My 4 and 8 year old use in bathroom. Would work anywhere. It's heavy duty plastic, and I guess I could see a 300 pound guy standing on it in a kitchen, but I'd feel more comfortable with an under 200 pound person, or for children. It's not very tall... something like 8", so realize that it's a very slight boost.

But goes well in the modern designed bathroom I have for my children, until they are old enough to put this one away in the supply closet. If a 4 year old can figure out how to fold it and set it up, you shouldn't have any troubles.

I wanted a foldable, sturdy step stool without the "handlebar" so my granddaughter could use it to reach the toilet. This is it. She asks for it when she comes over and carries it around the house---hummm--now just why did I want her to be able to reach more things???? I have to pry it away from my 80-year-old mother when she and my granddaughter are fighting over who gets to use it. (sigh) At least I got to pick the color!

Folds away for easy storage. It is pretty tall for it's small footprint. I use it daily in my kitchen. Comes in a range of awesome colors to compliment your decor, I recommend the RED.

I weigh about 240 lbs and this step stool has no issues. The rating at 300lb I would think would also be not an issue. I use the folding step stool for my wife to get into our Jeep Wrangler. Folds perfectly under the passenger seat. Worth the price.

Being in the medical field, I have purchased many steps over the years for reaching patient charts. Stationary steps are fine, the ones that lock down when you step on them, a little unstable, and the folding ones (up until now) just plan scary.

This step folds out to an incredibly stable surface where even a larger person (like me) can step and feel secure. The design allows it to be steady on any floor; wood, carpet, tile. And when done, a one-hand pick-up and fold-up compresses to a couple inches that can be slipped between bookshelves, next to the fridge, or behind a door. I now have 6 including one for outside, one in my car, and one in the garage. They are just too handy not to have nearby; a perfect solution for compulsive organizes who have bins on shelves and need to lift them up and down while feeling steady.

I'm happy with this purchase -- the step stool is strong, toddler-proof, easy to fold/unfold, and a bright and cheery color. I especially like that it's a couple of inches taller than most children's step stools, which are still too short for my 2 1/2 year old daughter to be able to wash her hands.

This stool is very sturdy even though it is collapsible. I like the bright red color--it stands out, so you are less likely to trip over it when it's not in use.

Purchased this step stool for my grandson. He loves it. He is 4 years old and climbs on anything and everything to reach things. It is very sturdy and I can fold it for easy storage and takes up less room than the conventional step stool. This stool relieves some anxiety about him falling since he will have a sturdy stool to stand on. If it comes in the color black, I will be purchasing another one.

Excellent bold color, sturdy stool. Labels CAME RIGHT OFF. Could be whatever glue they were using before has been replaced.

My MIL had similar stools in her home and they always seemed liked such a useful tool. I've tried other stools and they just paled in comparison. These stools are great and my kids can easily move them around as they need them. They're lightweight and durable, and they fold up to a slim, compact size. Love the color choices, they work well as seats at my kids outdoor craft table, and they look great too! A must have around the house.
