Have you ever wanted to hear Madonna's greatest hits, but long for that plastic-Frankenstein sound that's only created in virtual studios by British producers with stupid hair? This shameless umpteenth bid for Madonna's legacy fulfills that promise.

That is to say, this disc is pretty much terrible all the way through, and can be shelved somewhere between old Nintendo music and Disney Channel kid-pop.

The tracks are thumping but boring - headache-inducing, not dance-worthy. There isn't a single vocal track on the album that isn't autotuned into the voice of HAL from 2001. You might wonder if there are different female vocalists on this album. There are, but you'd never be able to tell by listening to it.

Ultimately, we don't need "danceable" covers of most of these songs, or at least not any more of them. The tracks are already long-time dance-hall favorites that shouldn't be re-re-reintroduced to the debacle that is current UK dance pop, and certainly not by whatever bored industry types assembled this monstrosity in between drug binges.

There are plenty of better dance remixes of Madonna out there that actually appreciate the source material. Go buy one of them instead.

Klone records, one of the UK most influential and independent dance-oriented label, has launched the follow up of their smash hit Platinum Blonde, this album features the NRG and trance versions of Madonna's classics.

The result is an amazing album suited for the dance floor, each track is a 12 inch version of pure energy, vocal trance enthusiast will like it as well, even some of her ballads have been revamped with throbing beats.

Madonna's purists may not agree, but if you like her songs, or her dance versions, or NRG covers, this album is a must.
