Ruth Brown was one of the grand ladies of R&B and the one artist that really started off Atlantic Records.This is a great collection of 21 songs which features all the classics: 'Teardrops', 'So Long', 'Mama he Treats Your Daughter Mean' and '5-10-15' and 'This Little Girls Gone Rockin' Great value.

I was hoping for much more after reading the reviews written on her. Ruth is great and is vintage Blues but it's got something missing,She is a blues singer for sure but not my thing. I am sure many others love her. She has lots of talent so use your own judgement of what you like. I like slow. sexy , and original blues with a story. I missed it here. |
