This is a gorgeous doll which I feel so lucky to have been able to purchase. Glimmer of Gold Barbie is a platinum label doll - only 999 were produced worldwide. She sold out within 18 minutes of being released on the Mattel website. This doll features a new, very high fashion face sculpt, often referred to as the Glimmer and/or Louboutin face sculpt. Robert Best's Grecian inspired creation is much prettier in person. Her dress is simple and elegant, and unlike some of the other dolls Barbie has made, her hair is very soft. The only complaint which I have about this doll is her shoes. There is absolutely nothing special about them - they are very plain. But overall, she still is a gem!
