5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Bottom Bracket
Ordered this 118 mm bottom bracket (BB) to see if it would work on a single-tube recumbent with a triple crank. Couldn't shift to the small ring with a 108 mm BB installed. This BB worked fine. It was easy to install. The torque values weren't printed on the BB, but they were on the FSA website. Very smooth cranking. Received it soon after I ordered it. Very happy with my...

2.0 out of 5 stars Drive side bearings wear out after ~750 miles
I purchased this bottom bracket to replace the beat up Shimano one that came on my Trek road bike. I do about 150 miles a week in commuting, and I was under the impression that FSA made good quality BB's. Boy was I wrong. After only 6 weeks, the drive side bearings are completely pitted and whole assembly creaks and makes grinding sounds whenever I turn the cranks. A...

2.0 out of 5 stars Drive side bearings wear out after ~750 miles, August 24, 2011
A bottom bracket should never wear out after only 750 miles. This means that either FSA used cheap bearings OR their quality control is terrible. Either way, I cannot recommend this product. Do yourself a favor and make the investment in a really good BB. You will save money and thank yourself down the line.

4.0 out of 5 stars FSA Platinum CrMo BB, April 24, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Bought this to replace my Platinum Ti BB. Although I did not have a scale with me, I could not tell by feel if it had any weight difference. I installed it on my bike. Worked like a charm. No creaking sound even when i stand on the pedals.
