I was able to snag a pre-release copy of this book, and for once, I'm glad I did. First let me say, it's a short read - perfect for an evening when you need a bit of escape. It's also a delightful read. The romance is heartwarming, the sex is hot, and the ending will leave you with a smile on your face, and perhaps a yearning <grin> to add some spice to your own relationship.

Ms. Lynne has taken a modern day couple, complete with all the stresses of daily life and added a bit of fantasy to give them a night to remember. It's a tender look at what can happen in a marriage if you let life's demands get in the way. Lucky for Jeannie and Jake though, the spark of love isn't dead yet, it just needs a fresh breeze to reignite the flame. Enter Pothos, the fresh breeze their marriage needs.

Like I said before, the sex scenes are smoking hot, and presented in such a, dare I say - romantic way, that your heart will melt for this couple. Yes, I knew it was a romance before I read it, and yes, I knew there would be a happy ever after, but I really wanted this couple to have a happy ever after, and I think you will too.

Jennifer Lynne has come up with a clever premise in having a paranormal ancient god appear to give a dose of his version of sex therapy to a modern couple whose romance is waning under the pressures of day-to-day life. This novella is a fast read with sizzling hot scenes, including a threesome. I don't usually read erotic novels, but this one was recommended because of the heartwarming romance between the husband and wife, and I indeed found myself rooting for them.

This story is hot....did I mention hot? It's hot. But though this story involves some very spicy threesome action, the author does an artful job of establishing a believable and heartfelt romance between Jeannie and Jack. And throw in the intriguing paranormal premise that sets the story in motion and I was hooked. A thoroughly enjoyable erotic romance.
