5.0 out of 5 stars What a stylus should be...
This is what a stylus should be. After all, one of the key features of a PDA is the graffiti function which is difficult to master with the original stylus. 3.0 out of 5 stars pen doesn'y fits in the stylus slot of many PDA cases
This pen is not that slim. It will not fit in a palm case or a cassiopedia. It is still nice to have, but don't expect to keep it where you kept your orrigianal stylus

This is what a stylus should be. After all, one of the key features of a PDA is the graffiti function which is difficult to master with the original stylus. It was not until I was able to get the feel of a regular sized pen (which is what the Platinum Pen Dual Action PDA Stylus is) that I was able to not only master the letters and numbers on the graffiti tablet, but also the punctuations. If you use a pocket sized case for your PDA, you probably will not be able to fit this stylus into the stylus holder, however larger cases usually come with pen holder slots (it will fit there just fine). If you are accustomed to putting your pen in your shirt pocket and want the feel of a regular pen then this product is for you. If you are looking for something to keep with your PDA (case) and then slip into your back trouser pocket then this may not be what you are looking for.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice Pen/Stylus, March 27, 2001

This Pen/Stylus is FULL size. The editor made a mistake by calling it slim design. This is a very nice combo. I would highly recommend it to people who are constantly switching between ink and stylus. It was a perfect pen for me.

Now for the review. The weight is about the same a normal Parker/Cross pen. The ink is no way the same. Don't get me wrong, the ink is good but, it doesn't compare to those of a higher class. With a simple, and I do mean simple twist, the stylus appears. Excellent mechanical design. Platinum Pen Company put a lifetime guarantee on it. (Under normal condition)

The stylus is probably one of the best on the market. Add that with the weight and feel of a real pen, I am now cruising along on my Palm Graffti. I was good before, now I am better.

The rubber cushion a nice when you are writing for a long time. I have a Dooney and Burke pad for my Palm. The cushion is kinda big for the pen loop, but it will fit with a little push.

Very nice Pen/Stylus combo.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific, the way a stylus should feel, January 15, 2001

This was a wonderful purchase. I considered many different ones, but this was what looked the nicest and had exactly what I needed-a pen and stylus that feels like a pen (because it is one!). It also has a very nice feel on the touch screen, a much more substantial tap than a flimsy plastic stylus. If you use a stylus for any length of time, you will really appreciate the comfort of the full-sized pen. True, it does not fit in the stylus slot (I keep the original stylus in place in case I'm ever without my pen), but I knew that when I bought it and it was what I wanted. It fits well in my zipper case, easily accessed. It also has a pocket clip. I am very, very happy with it--even better, it's a great price!

4.0 out of 5 stars Best value for your money!, March 30, 2001

The comment "fits in the stylus slot of many PDA cases" as stated in the "Features" section of the description of this item is, in fact, correct. Unfortunately, the previous reviewer misunderstood this to mean that it's supposed to fit in the stylus slot on the PDA "casing" (where the original stylus is housed).

PDA "cases", such as bi-folds and trifolds offered by various manufacturers, incorporate a separate slot or elastic holder for your stylus (except in "pouch-type" cases). If you read other reviews further down you'll see that the description actually pertains to the stylus slot in a "PDA case" such as a bi-fold, not the housing.

I gave this pen/stylus 4 stars instead of 5 because the grip area does not allow it to be inserted effortlessly into an elastic holder, as would be the case if it would have had a smooth barrel. Other than that, you can't find a better value!

4.0 out of 5 stars A pro-pencil, June 14, 2000
By A Customer

This pencil is very good - though to the fast switch. But I've discovered a small problem. Be sure that you switch to the right tip - so you don't start writing with the pancil and scratch your screen.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic stylus! Smooth pen!, July 12, 2001

This pen/stylus is a classy-looking item that has a great stylus tip and an extremely smooth-writing ball point pen combined in a double twist action housing. I got the pen mainly for the stylus and ended up loving the pen - it writes better than a Cross pen and even a little smoother than my fancy Shaeffer pen. Now I just need to find refills for the pen... the only negative I could find.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it, December 30, 2000

This pen/stylus is perfect for my purpose. I use my Palm at work and I have to carry a pen around with me anyway. I was constantly taking my stylus out and putting it back and on and on... I got used to the direction to turn for stylus vs. pen right away and I use this feature constantly. I like the ease of switching between pen and stylus. Bravo for design. If you want one that fits in your regular stylus slot - buy something else - I wanted a pen that had a great stylus feature - I got it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Pen and Stylus!, October 28, 2002
This review is from: Platinum Pen Dual Action PDA Stylus (Stainless) (Office Product)
This pen offers both the convenience of a stylus and pen in one with elegance! The fine point and smooth writing capabilities were perfect from this pen. I highly recommend this pen to anyone who writes and uses their PDA through out the day.

I have recently purchased this item. When I rec'd it the pen refill was empty. I called the company and they were great! They sent me a new refill, and it was a pleasure talking with customer service. This product is the all in one answer to all the PDA needs. Pen and stylis, pen is a great pen too! Thanks to Platinum for a great product.
