5.0 out of 5 stars Klein is both disciplined and wide ranging, July 22, 2009

This review is from: Plato's Trilogy: "Theaetetus, "The Sophist" and "The Statesman" (Hardcover)
This book does not have the focus that his classic Greek Mathematical Thought and the Origins of Algebra has. It does do what it promises, however. It ties work and play in its ability to stay wide ranging within overarching discipline. Klein's greatest moments occur when he broaches points in the style of dialogue examined within the discipline of treatise.
