As far as the instructions, I've read comments to the effect they are hard to follow. I think the problem is that most of those reviewers were trying to learn how to play for the first time with the provided booklet. It's a lot easier to start out with YouTube videos and online tutorials, and then use the provided rules as an alternate way of playing. They will make sense if you try to get some context before sitting down in front of the board for the first time :)
My only complaint, if it could be called that, is that I wish the board came with 14 pieces instead of 10 to be able to play some of the their variants. I'm not sure if the seller offers additional loose pieces for sale.
All in all, I am completely happy with the set and would buy more from this seller.
One thing - I would _highly_ recommend learning to play Senet from one of the many online games sites or a phone app. The rules are challenging at first. There are many different ways to play it. And the included instructions would not get you to complete a game.

I can see why Senet has been a favorite game since Ancient times, just as good as chess. :)Published 5 months ago by Mark S. McCray
Disappointing the game did not come with a nice creative storage box. Nevertheless this game is, in my opinion, somewhat boring. Read morePublished 13 months ago by cmoigreg01
The quality of this board is brilliant. The game itself is thousands of years old and holds up as a simple board game. Totally worth a buy, especially for the price.Published 20 months ago by No Name
Game was as expected. Disappointed in didn't come in a box for storage. Should have read the description more carefully!Published on January 15, 2014 by kathleen
