We got this for my 3-year old who loves to play with Play- Doh. You can save your money and just buy the fun factory.. The table is a pain in the neck to clean because of the cracks and tiny spaces. The crayon and marker carosel are useless. The holes are too wide and not deep enough so they fall out. The handle on the factory pops off constantly, and the storage holes on the legs for the cans of playdoh, don't get me started, the cans are constantly falling out and landing on my childs toes. Play- Doh is great but this table is a piece of junk!!!

I got this for my son who is 16 months old and is really wants to play with Play-Doh. I thought that this would prevent him from getting Play-Doh all over the house, and it has helped, but the table is pretty small so he still gets some on the floor.
The storage holes for the cans of Play-Doh in the table legs work really well, by the way. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, as the cans fit securely into the holes and don't fall out (even when I'm shaking the table upside down to clean out all those little cracks.) As long as you push the cans into the holes, and don't just set them into the openings, the cans WON'T fall out!
My biggest complaint is cleaning the table off. I find it impossible to get all the Play-Doh out of the Fuzzy Pumper and also find it EXTREMELY difficult to clean the extruder piece.
The only other complaint is with the crayon/ marker carousel...the holes are not very deep, so the crayons and markers precariously balance in the holes. This bothers my child, who keeps trying to shove the crayons further into the holes (he has a good idea of how things are SUPPOSED to work) and ends up breaking the crayons. I've begun to use the holes for the markers to store the "drill bits" and "screws" for my child's Play-Doh drill, which works quite well!
Overall, I found this toy worthwhile, however, and would definitely buy it again given amazon.com's significant discount.

Like several of the other reviewers, I got this table for my 2.5 year old who loves to play with Play Doh. On the surface, this table seemed like a great idea, but it was most certainly NOT great. First of all, the marker/crayon holder is pointless. The markers and crayons just fall out then get stepped on and broken. The fun factory handle keeps coming off, which is a pain in the neck. The worst part, however, is the little things like the "hair grow" feature (where you squish Play Doh through the character's "head" and he grows Play Doh hair.) Little bits of Play Doh are everywhere; I never can seem to get it all and I have to vacuum the area around the table every day. There are a million cracks and crevices that the Play Doh gets stuck in and the table never gets clean, even with my best efforts. I think that Play Doh is great and I am happy to have my kids playing with it, but this table is a huge pain in the neck and my kids prefer playing with their Play Doh at the kitchen table anyway. Spare yourself the agony!!
