I listened to the CD 3 times. I felt confident and "In the Zone" as soon as the round began. I hit 9 Fairways which is a major improvement. My putting was excellent. I usually have "a lot" of negative thoughts during a round of golf but, this day I was very calm. Golf is mostly physchological. Both my husband are beginning golfers, and hypnosis is helping us with our concentration and frustration issues...I like the electronic music on this cd-relaxing but catchy. The narrator has a British accent, but a kind of regular-guy-sounding British accent.
What did not work well for us was one of the visualizations about watching your favorite golf player - since we don't watch much golf, we kind of drew a blank when listening to that part. We also think the author should have included "fun" as one of his themes to focus on. I would say give it a try, although we both prefer our own personalized golf scripts we wrote for ourselves after reading "Instant Self-Hypnosis" by Forbes Robbins Blair.
