This book is absolutely unparalled in its ability to change a person like me from someone who has next to no ability with a guitar to someone who can play along with virtually any song. This book is far better than any I have been able to obtain. I highly recommend it.

No matter what your style of music, you'll find instructions that will improve your playing. You can learn anything - from bluegrass, to blues (there's a good section on 12 bar blues), to country, to rock and roll. There's even a section on boogie-woogie. This book is clear and to the point with easy to understand tablature showing you where to put your fingers. It includes everything you need to know about buying, maintining and learning to play the guitar for anyone making that first go at it. |
