Just read the numbers,

This is a very good beginner's book for those that cannot read music. Just look at the numbers and blow or draw on a single hole. All the songs are familiar folk tunes ("Oh Susana" to "Michael Row Your Boat") so playing in the right tempo won't be too much of a problem. My book came with a tape that demonstrated how the songs should sound. I didn't need it. The only difficult part was the instructions on bending the notes. The tape helps some but it is still a work in progress for me.

I had my doubts at first about being able to play the harmonica instantly. So I picked up this book, looked at the cover, and then flipped to the second page. It said "Step 1: Congratulations, you are now able to play the harmonica".
Well, I did play the harmonica instantly! What a fantastic 1-step program! I look forward to future books in this series.
