Chris Cagle is the most talented male singer in country music today. He wrote "Laredo" and co-wrote eight other songs on his debut album, "Play It Loud" and has such a unique and powerful voice. I just hope that he'll be as big as Tim McGraw or Kenny Chesney one day. But with his talent, I'm sure it won't take long!
Some of the best songs on the album are "Who Needs the Whiskey," "Are You Ever Gonna Love Me," "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out," "Play It Loud" and my personal favorite, "Country By the Grace of God," which is a very high energy song about how Chris enjoys the simplicity of living in the country.
I can't say enough good things about this album, except pick up your copy now! I'd also like to recommend that you check out one of his concerts sometime, if you can. He puts on a terrific show!

I originally bought this album because I knew I'd been seeing him in concert and thought maybe I should know a couple songs before then. I was BLOWN AWAY when I heard it.
I had to admit that it is a superb album. Every song is strong. Cagle has the potential to become the next big thing. He can sing a ballad that will wrench your heart out, and then doing a fast tune that makes you crank up the volume and get you "dancin' on the tailgates".
"Play It Loud" is a very appropriate title. I carry this album with me everywhere I go. There is a song on there that will fit any mood you are in... Grab this disk. I guarantee you'll love it.

Definitely a star performer and one who has that "special something" that will make his career take him to the heights of success that Tim McGraw has accomplished. My Love Goes ON and ON and ON is the first song I heard and then the video of Chris in Laredo was wonderful and my favorite video on CMT's MWL or CMT's top 20 countdown. I thought he was a powerful prescence in the video and it moved so fast but it was a great video, I really think it should win an award. I enjoyed seeing Chris on Cmt's MWL with host Lance Smith and his co-host Amber Mogg both extremely professional, I try not to miss it each night. All of the songs are great and I enjoyed seeing Chris sing I breathe In and Breathe Out on CMT's Most Wanted Live what a beautiful song and certainly a poignant song this week.

It's great to see a new artist who is straight up "country by the grace of God!" Chris Cagle's "Play It Loud" CD should be done exactly that way - played LOUD! There are few in country music right now who can match Chris' one-two punch as singer and song writer! I started with the original issue of this CD and had to get the Capital Nashville rerelease with it's two additional songs (including "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out"). The tempo of the music is perfect - kickin' country-rockers, and heart-tugging ballads. All of his radio-released singles are a great showing of what the entire disc contains. "The Safe Side" is one track definitely worth purchasing the entire collection for. And, the kicker is that this guys turns it up even more in his live show! If you fancy yourself a country music fan, "Play It Loud" is a must have CD! Keep an eye on country's next major star - Chris Cagle!

Chris Cagle is going to be a very famous star. He definitely has the voice to be one of the best. "Laredo" is a great song as well as "My Love Goes On and On". My personal favorites are "The Safe Side","Play it Loud", "Who Needs the Whiskey", "Lovin' You, Lovin' Me" and "I Breathe, I Breathe Out". As you can see, there are so many that are great that its hard to pick favoites. He has a lot of talent and will be very big someday. I definitely suggest that everyone gets this cd.

Amazing, not only does Chris Cagle have a wonderful country voice and amazing songs to sing, but he wrote the majority of his songs; it is tough to come by singer-songwriters anymore.
I can listen to this CD over and over and never get tired of it! His upbeat tunes and the amazing quality of instrument players make this CD fun to listen to and even sing along with.
Chris Cagle sets this honesty about his music, after attending a small, local concert of his I learned about what made him decide to write a song and to produce it; all of the songs he wrote come from real life experiences that not only he can relate to! This brings an even wider acceptance to his tunes, people can connect with them.
Chris Cagle did great on this record and I cannot wait untill he comes out with another!

When I first saw his video on CMT I knew Chris was going to be someone big, he has the look, the sound and the talent to be a star. This CD is very very good from start to finish, with my favorite tracks being Country By the Grace of God, and Play it Loud, and Lovin' You Lovin' Me being my 3 favorites on the CD. So if you like Tim McGraw or Tracy Byrd, your going to love Chris Cagle, so watch out for this star on the rise, because the sky is the limit for him.

This guy could become the next Tim McGraw. This CD even has the same kinda of sound as 'Everywhere' with some slower songs and then some fast ones. If you like the single 'Loredo' I really think you'd like the whole album-its totally worth the money. Plus its pretty country...or as country as things get these days.
And make sure you listen to 'lovin you lovin me' (sooo good)

Chris Cagle will be around for a long time to come. His debut Cd was awesome. There are so many songs on there that hit home and are just hard to pick just one favorite song. When the title says Play it Loud...Play it Louder.
