We photo the pages so the pictures can be colored or painted more than once. It is the only coloring book type I have found of such good quality that you can copy it very clearly. The original pages hold up very well for little ones to color or paint - not so with most other books. The pictures are very interesting for 2 to 4 year olds from my experience. I can't praise it enough for fun and learning for little ones. We have most of the books in this series as they have been so successful.

I could do without the large "do-a-dot" letters on each page, but think it's great that this book has letters to trace and then space to practice each letter on the page. i like the idea that a previous reviewer had mentioned of photocopying each page so that you can do them more than once. i just wish that it made more room for practice lines than it does for the "do-a-dot" letters on each page, as then there would be space for lower case letters as well. i would have given five stars if it had lower case letters as well.
the numbers section is really cute as well and has numbers to trace as well as items to count for each number.
the paper itself is very nice quality bright white paper. all pages are one sided, so you could disassemble the book and display them all on a wall for later learning and practice once each page is completed. 28 pages total.

I'm doing Montessori at home with my daughter, and this book is perfect to teach her how to start writing numbers and letters. I love it!

I bought this book for a birthday gift (2 yr old) with some do-a-dot markers because my 2 yr old LOVES those markers. I've been printing out free printables, but I think this booklet is worth it for the price because ink for my printer costs SO much money. It's got whole alphabet (2 letters to a page), 1-10, a section in back to cut out pieces and match to answer (ie. match 4 to 4 balloons). Some of this would be too advanced for a 2 yr old but I know mine loves filling in the dots so I think it's a worthwhile purchase. Again, printer ink is expensive. If it wasn't then I'd probably skip the book and print my own.

This is a great product to make copies of. I use it for my classroom to learn alphabet, colors and counting the dots.

When I first received this book, I paged through it and saw all of the letters and numbers. I thought my rambunctious 4 year son would not be interested in doing it at all. I also thought maybe the letters would be too difficult. But he turned out to love it! We are now using it in conjunction with what he is learning in pre-k. We practice the letters at home and talk about the pictures provided in the book. It is fun and useful. A great purchase and well worth the money.

My three-year-old grandson is enjoying this a lot. This is his first do a got book and it is a great fine motor activity for him.
