This review is from: How to Play Nearly Everything (Paperback)
A fun sounding book with great intentions, but the execution does not live up to it's expectations. For most of the instruments listed the 'history' section, although interesting to learn the background on the instruments, ends up being longer than the explanation on how to play the instrument itself. It could have used more (or clearer) pictures or diagrams to show you how to hold or play the instrument. I bought it for the washtub bass diagrams - which are fine, but some of the 'how to' - especially the 'jaw harp' are laughably bad.
