Play to Win provides serious yet entertaining lessons to help hopeful gamblers arrive at the casino with practical knowledge about the various games they'll encounter. The gaming instructor at the Las Vegas Hilton, Sam Micco, serves as the host, getting things to a lively start with detailed lessons at the blackjack table, covering the basic rules and giving some valuable pointers on strategy. The same basic format is followed for other games, including roulette, craps, baccarat, and even slot machines.

The expert instructors offer a lot of information, and having these detailed lessons on video allows one to rewind and review, something that will be necessary for anyone serious about ingesting all the material presented. Outlines of critical information, such as the rules of various games, appear onscreen in written form, which is especially helpful for games with complicated rules. Despite the video's optimistic title, the instructors are conscientious about noting how even the most skilled players can only narrow the odds, and the house will always have an advantage.
