A down-to-earth guide to making the most of your brain! Great insights and tools structured in a rather unusual manner (8 keys on an "inner piano"). Often books like this claim that "Just follow step 1, 2 and 3 - then you will be happy". Play Your Brain is different. The authors invite you to be a co-creator of the book - diving into the parts that appeal to you the most... a very respectful way of communicating with readers. I particularly like the chapters on Values and Perception.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By David Jones on May 22, 2012
Format: Paperback
Inscribed in a book to Winston Churchill, Mark Twain wrote "To be good is noble; but to show others how to be good is nobler. "Play Your Brain" is good, indeed. It is much more than a self-help book: it brings neuroscience into the realm of humanity. It is a pleasure to read, succinct, drop-dead interesting, positively provoking yet easy to take on board. When you read it, you may well (like me), hear yourself saying, "wow!"

This book shows the reader how the brain works, and how to use its "keys" in order to create new habits and make wise and good decisions. It is the kind of book you will want to return to again and again.

As Mark Twain would have said, this is a 'noble book' that will stand the test of time!
