What I like about this spoon is that my child can actually play with this spoon and you do not have to worry about them gagging on it due to the guard. My son would always try to stick the handle of other spoons into his mouth instead of the scoop end--that is not an issue with this "spoon toy" because both ends have a scoop. Pretty smart design...

What a great product. I have a 1 year old son who is just learning to eat. He has been using this product for about a month and loves it. This product is helping him to develop his hand coordination for when he becomes a full-fledged eater. He loves to play with it and use it as a teether. I highly recommend this product.

These spoons are not worth the money. My son does enjoy chewing on them but prefers a regular spoon for eating. The spoon cup is too shallow to get a good bite and the anti-choke/gag guard is awkward and doesn't prevent him from getting the entire spoon in his mouth.
