Being a city dweller eliminates back yard camp-outs. While my sons loves "camping" in his room with his favorite Cars characters, this item really is a piece of junk. The supports are so poorly designed that keeping the play hut vertical is a major challenge. Rather than charging a few more dollars and providing decent poles for support cheap metal bands are used that easily bend and twist to the point where the play hut spends most of its time leaning, flopping and even falling over. This is a perfect example of Disney permitting a licensee to produce third rate product debasing their franchise.

My son absolutely loves his playhut! I on the other hand think the quality could have been better. I also have the hardest time ever to fold away the playhut, not as easy as 123! The wires get all twisted and dont want to straighten out, def. could have been designed better. Would recommend this item IF you don't plan on folding it down.

I Bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, it has not stood up since we took it out of the box. The bows are bent so far from being in the box that they won't support the tent and hold it up. I have emailed the company twice and have not received an answer. If this thing cost $10.00, I wouldn't complain but for $50.00 I thought I was getting a sturdy play tent for her. Something that would last and not fall apart after a month or so. Do not buy this tent. It isn't quality construction and is overpriced for what you get.

This tent was just what we expected. We had purchased a "princess" tent for our daughter a few years back and so we knew what to expect as far as durability and the material type. It is similar to all collapsible laundry totes, tents, etc -- a strong metal wire structure and the lightweight nylon fabric. I have noticed that the tent has been folded up so long from the manufacturer that it takes it just a little bit to keep its shape. A few days all set up to stretch out and it is fine. We were surprised to see a battery pack that connected to lights along the top of the tent. I must have missed that detail in the description! Our 3 yr old has all of his toys inside and it really fosters pretending -- he loves to be enclosed in his own world and seems more free to pretend with his toys.

We sent this play tent to our Grandson for his second birthday. he loves it, and so does his 4 year old brother. They set the tent up and did a video conference after it arrived. One of the nicest features is the fact that it is big enough for their dad to play in too, or even have a little indoor campout.

Most of these tents are very small, and very light, which makes them hard to keep in one place. This larger size is a lot more fun.

I purchased this product for my niece for Christmas - she absolutely loves the Cars characters and thought this would be a great item. It arrived and she played with it Christmas evening to great joy and happiness. It was then put away for a few weeks not to over load her with all her Christmas presents and now the play house will not stand up. I check out the other reviews here on Amazon and am finding others with the same issue. It appears the manufacturer is ignoring any contact about the item or helping to resolve the problem.

Therefore I am NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PRODUCT!

the tent is kind-of flimsy, holds up okay to regular play, i don't think it would stand a chance to rough and tough play. it moves easily and is very roomy. i wouldn't pay more than fifty dollars for it. it does have lights on the front top of it that are kind-of cool.

This thing is BIG! my son loves it he has room to play and hang out in there...I just didn't realize how big until I popped open Christmas eve to leave out.....I took a side of the room up! It has lights which my son thinks is amazing....I think I would have liked it a little smaller but my 5 year old doesn't agree!!

I bought this for my 2 year old son, he loved it but within a half an hour the bottom material that holds the rods in place ripe off. I had to return it the next day. The pictures are what captures the kids but how it is build is what sends it back to the store.

Don't waste your time, money or energy purchasing this just to return.

This tent was broken within a half an hour after receiving it....my grandchildren were playing in it and one fell against the wall.....the tent then basically collapsed and we were unable to make it stand again.....never will I purchase another.....what a waste of many dollars.....it is now standing against the wall behind the couch in hopes someone can come up with a remedy.....like I said ....WHAT A WASTE OF GOOD HARD EARNED CASH!!!
