5.0 out of 5 stars Instructions on how to fold
This thing is the greatest. I bought this for my 18 month old girl. She absoultly loves it. Like everyone else said, it is quite large ~10' X ~5'. Although we have not used it outside yet, we will be. As for as folding it I wont lie, it took me almost 30 minutes to figure it out. Here's how I did it:

--Stand at the top of the house.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kool BUT a nightmare if you want to put it away!! BEWARE
This tent is VERY large so you would need a huge room that is pretty empty to place it in OR outside would be best. My 2 kids play with it inside since I have the luxury of having a large space for it. It folds up thin BUT I cannot fold it up like it originally was.

One day I decided I wanted to fold it up and place it in storage for a bit. I took out the...

--Stand at the top of the house.
--Grab the Bottom of the house, one hand near (not at) each corner.
--Fold it down until shape resembles a "C".
--Continue until the top and the bottom almost touch each other.
--Now here the tricky part, slide your hands toward the middle and move the bottom metal rod inward toward the middle of the house.
--The sides will start to fold up and to the center.
--Once the the middle rod is in the center of the house.
--Grab the sides and fold them down one on top of the other.

My sister bought this for her kids and I thought it was just an ordinary kids tent, boy, was I surprised. It was HUGE!! there is plenty of room for several kids (pre-teens) included. Our kids are constantly pulling all the blakets out to make a tents and trying to secure the edges with as many breakables as possible. Those days are over, there is so much room that it can accomadate a small slumber party. I can see this will be a favorite for toddles all the way up to 11 years old. Great buy!!

I ordered this playhouse a few weeks ago for my 3 year old and 18 month old. They love it. The 3 yr. old wants to sleep in it every night. We read books in it, have tea in the screened in patio, play with toys in it. It is a great playhouse that can go outside or in and can travel!!

I also had trouble getting it to fold down compactly. I called 1-888-PLAYHUT and they walked me through it over the phone. It is so easy, the written directions are hard to follow. The customer service department was very friendly and helpful.

Don't get me wrong. This place is huge... not for a small home. You need to have an entire room to dedicate this too. I actually bought it for my small yorkshire terrier dog to play in outside. But this is the kicker.... if you were one of those kids that bought a RUBIX CUBE, twisted it once and never got all the colors to match up again. Then this is EXACTLY like that. Pick something else. I am actually trying to return it right now, because it was just too big for us. However...I've been trying to twist and fold it back in the bag for 3 days now. After 30 minutes of trying ...I keep giving up. If I have to cut it in half to get in back in there I will. Basically my point is.... ONCE you set it up. Don't expect to ever take it down. It is fun though. Bigger than I ever imagined.

My kids love this playhut. Not only do they use it to play "house," but we also take it camping with us. It has been very durable......but I CAN'T GET IT TO FOLD DOWN. I have tried the directions listed on this site, I have surfed all over the web(...). I still cannot get this thing to twist into 3 circles. I would say that this was still worth the money, and I would buy it again even if it doesn't fold down. (...)

I was skeptical because of the price, but my 2 1/2 year old and all of her same age friends spend a countless amount of time in here. They read, play with toys and I sometimes put a little table and chairs in for supervised snacks. I recommend this highly if you have the indoor room to spare. Folds and reshapes nicely.

I bought this for my 3 yr old daughter .. and to my surprise its big enough for my 3 yr old, 5 yr old and 9 yr old ... and their cousins!! It is a great challenge to fold down, but when you fold it once it gets easier each time. Great for camping, the beach and backyard fun!!! We're a big fan of Playhut and this house is the best especially for summer!!

I must say this is the best play hut ever!!!!It is HUGE!!!!!!!
Lots of space. You can fit 8 or more kids in there.Even a Child sofa couch. It is so cool!!!! Easy to put together and to store back in bag.Not hard at all.My children 13,10,6 and 16 months love it.I even put the pit balls in there. You will need at least 400 balls to fill one side of the play hut.I even can fit in there. You also can fold half of the house to make it smaller.I say this is the best hut ever made yet!!!!!!Worth every cent i spent for it,and then some.

my two kids are 12 (girl) and 9 (boy) and got this playhut. It's been a house, a fort, a space station. It's big enough for my daughter (5'2") with imagination value-a must for me.

Our granddaughter loves this little house. We love it because you can put it away after she leaves. Biggest problem is that you can't get it back in the bag the same way it came out. I consider myself pretty intelligent but trying to fold this thing up is worse than a really bad day at work. But with all the hassle of folding it up I would still buy it again.
