I can't believe it! The whole family plays with this!! Our Daughter loves all the things she can do. Our Golden Retriever gets mad when we take it down, he loves it so much.

The two of them will sit and play in it for hours!! I'm SHOCKED!! Must have for Moms and Dads who need a safe placr for kids to go.

Finally a toy that my 3 year old and his 15 month old brother can play in together. You shoudl have seen their faces when this baby popped out of its little mesh tote bag! And , yes, with a little practice you too can learn to fold the thign and stuff it back in there when you're done. This toy is big time fun for a small apartment. Playdates feel like a party when you whip this thing out. It's a kids dream at a parents dream price. Highly recommend.

What was once a company that took pride in providing durable and long lasting toys, has now dwindled down into a company that has cut corners. They are now substituting quality nylon (tent material) for plastic that emits toxins when it off gasses. This fire truck was a long anticipated surprise for our son. To our chagrin the entire top is plastic. We had to air it our in the garage for several weeks to let it off-gas before subjecting our child to it. To add injury to insult, Playhut has cut these corners substituting quality materials for cheaper unsafe products and yet they keep charging extremely high prices. I would not pay more that 5.00 for this product. To keep children who have asthma safe cut out the plastic. Playhut could still be the number one sought after toy producer but they have dismally let their loyal consumer base down. We own over 20 tents, tunnels, and blocks. Only because we bought them years ago when Playhut remembered what it meant to produce good merchandise.

I purchased this for my very energetic 13 month old son...it's a major hit! He just loves to crawl in & play with the steering wheel! He also does things like take our remote control and then go hide in the fire engine, like it's his hide out.. totally cool toy for the money. The only problem I have is taking it down, hard to figure out, but mostly it stays up anyway.
Also a good idea, get a tunnel to attach to it...my son loves that!

My 7 year old got this for his 5th birthday and it has always been a favorite, especially when friends come over to play! This promotes great imaginative play for younger children and hide and seek fun for smaller toddlers...even my cat loves to play in this thing!! IT's SOOO EASY to fold up and store behind a couch or under a bed and pops right back up when the kids want to play! There are just a few small tears in it..but for 2 years of play and for the price (compared to others!!)..it has really been well worth it! The doors have managed to stay intact (not get torn off) and it's just an all around simple but great "toy". A MUST HAVE!

We purchased the PlayHut Fire Truck for my son's third birthday. Just imagine, ten little three year olds playing in this toy at his birthday party. They all had a great time driving their imaginary fire truck and playing fireman. As a mommy, I like that it folds down so easily and stores in very little space. When my son wants to play Fireman, we just bring it out of the closet and pop it up. This is my second PlayHut purchase and we love their products. We now have a fire truck and a choo choo train.

My son was 3 yrs. old when we bought this for him. The price was wonderful. It has lasted but he doesn't play with it tons. The only down side is it is hard to completely fold up. We just usually left if folded half way. It comes with a bag that it folds into.

I bought this playhut for my 2 1/2 yr. old nephew. He was so excited & could barely wait for the package to be opened. It was an instant success. Even my own 6 1/2 & 4 1/2 yr. olds couldn't wait to get inside and pretend; though it is best suited for one child at a time. We have had other playhut tents and they are quite durable.

We purchased this for our two sons, and they don't play with it as much as I thought they would, but I would still consider it a good buy. It's much more durable than the plastic type tents that are sold everywhere. My two year old has been tearing at it for three weeks now and it still looks brand new. Does take up a lot of space though.

My 20-month-old son adores his fire engine. It is extremely durable and I have little fear of it tearing, even when our golden retriever tries to get inside to play, too! I love that it easily folds up to a very compact size that I can just slide behind the couch for the next day and don't have to leave it up at all times when he's not playing with it like other similar products.

I wanted to point out that this product IS made of quality nylon, not plastic like an old review states. There was no toxic smell whatsoever when we took it out of the box or went inside it. The windows and openings are not covered with plastic either so there is plenty of air circulation. There are two openings on top, and 4 or 5 windows, plus a crawl door in back and a full size door on the side. Both are just hanging nylon doors that you can roll up and tie if you choose so they are not in the way. The "floor" of the fire engine is also completely open so if your tot trips and knocks it over, they won't be trapped inside.

It is very lightweight so kids should take care not to lean on the sides, just like any other tent-type toy. My son enjoys pushing it around the house because it is so light. It's also a great place for stashing all his toys. He loves to piles up his favorite toys inside! It holds it shape very well despite all the play time it receives. I think it's a steal at this price for hours of open-ended play and endless potential as your child grows.
