All those who patiently waited for the proverbial bottom to fall on the PS3 price, this must be 'it'. At $299 for a PS3, 2 games and a $10 gift card, it's unlikely that it's going to get any better than this, at least this year.

Those who don't find these specific two games appealing should be aware that other BLACK FRIDAY BUNDLES, packing different games are available from other merchants [on Nov. 27]. Check the comment to this review for information on who offers these] bundles.

One thing to keep in mind is that all the other non-Amazon merchants are likely to charge you sales tax right away and, possibly, shipping so, money-wise, Amazon's deal is by far the best - probably $30-40 less than everyone else's so, even if you don't want the 2 games in Amazon's bundle, you could still order this from Amazon and possibly sell the games later and buy what you really want.

If your reading this I have to ask this. Why? This is a win win situation. Two great games and a PS3. Buy this now before there gone. For all you parents out there both of these games are rated 9 out of 10 on most game sites so these arent just crappy bundle games that you tend to get with other bundles. BUY BUY BUY!!!!

PS3 slim with inFamous and Killzone 2. inFamous 2 is a GTA-styled game, but with better graphics,better gameplay (electric shock baby!!!),and twisted endings. Killzone 2 is considered as one of the best FPS this year and also one of the best PS3 exclusives. I know most people are currently playing MW2 (including me), but this game can't be missed by any FPS' fans. PS3 slim has almost similar features with the "phat" version, except Linux (That's all I can recalled). Still no backwards feature, so just get $99 PS2 if you want to play PS2 games. Although I believe that this can play PS1 games( not all, but some). I don't need to talk a lot about this bundle, since what included here are already known by most people. Go grab one, since there is no tax and you can get free shipping!!

The 5 stars are for the games. and in no way are they associated with the seller of the item (Shipsound)...

Are you kidding me! Shipsound is attempting to sell this bundle at nearly TWICE the original price of the bundle?!??!

I can go out and buy a Brand new Playstation 3 250gb and the two games that come with it for less money!

Third Party Sellers can just go to.... well i won't continue but they should just take this off and move it over to ebay.

I'm glad I waited for Black Friday! System + two games + $10 credit - awesome!!

I was so excited to get this for such a great deal on Black Friday. I received it earlier today and after setting it up, it appears my system was close to being Dead-On-Arrival. It would freeze up completely about 2 minutes after every power on, and the system could not find any wireless networks when I tried scanning. After re-scanning for wireless networks three times, it would come back with a 80130128 hardware failure message. I was screwed... So much for the promotion if I had to return the system back to Amazon, as I would have to return the games too. I wasn't about to get a refurbished console from Sony on a brand new system.

With the help of Google, I was able to find out that the wifi card in the PS3 either had a loose antenna wire or the system had a bad firmware flash at the factory. One post said that a firmware update on their faulty system fixed the problem. Well, I downloaded firmware 3.10 from the SCEA website, loaded it onto my iPod nano, and installed it. Success! There wasn't a single hitch in the update process! The system no longer freezes shortly after booting up and the Wifi card is now able to find and connect to wireless networks.

I hope this doesn't happen on anybody else, but if it does, I hope they can find some help in this review. I am leaving one star off for the slip-up in quality control from the factory and the unnecessary stress it caused ;). All in all, a five star system.

For you people that doesn't have a PS3 System already and are looking to buy one, you must take advantage of this offer, the PS3 itself costs 299! and on this bundle you could say they are adding 2 great games for free, get it now and you won't regret it, I know that If I didn't already have my PS3 I'd be buying this bundle, its just 5 stars, it's a win-win situation you can't lose, go ahead.

It's a PS3. Most people know what the system does and offers before you purchase it. I am 39 years old and went out Black Friday at 5AM to purchase this system with 2 games & a DVD for $299 at the Blue Box Store. After standing in a ridiculous line because they wanted everyone purchasing electronics to buy in electronics and only had 1 cash register open for about one hundred people, I left. The 2 games were not to die for (different than these 2 games) and the movie would have been nice to have as my first Blueray. My time was worth more to me though. I came home and said let me check amazon and see if they have anything. They had this Bundle the PS3 w/Killzone 2 and Infamous for $299. Basically buy the system and get 2 games free. Here is where the great part is, Amazon had the bundle available, I used my discover card and saved $10 instantly and free shipping and no tax. The system cost me $289 and I had in 3 days at my door step. I'm really get hooked on Amazon. I've made other purchases and it's great.
As for the system, I bought the system mainly to play some games. I like the fact you can surf the web. I've purchased the PS3 Keypad for the controller but you don't need it to do anything on the web. I also use the Blueray player alot. It has a nice upconvert quality also for regular DVD's. You definitely should take the time to set everything up properly to get the most out of the player and your TV. I have mine setup to a 32" Sony 720P LCD. I found a nice and helpful setup guide on CNET on getting the settings correct. I have had no issues at this point and am definitely satisfied with my purchase especially the price. I was in the market to buy blu-ray player and did some research. The feedback on Ps3 as a blu-ray player was good. I decided to give it a shot. It was one of the coolest decisions to buy this console. I am a casual gamer and in $300 ps3 , I got an amazing blu-ray plyaer and a gaming console. What also amazed me is the sound quality. Overall, a fantastic product. Simply love it.

I was looking to buy at Playstation 3 over the holiday season and I noticed all the major players were offering a bundled deal on Black Friday. My intention was to go Gamestop since we have a few in the neighborhood. Well I woke up at 5.45 am (not biggie here . I am usually up at 6am) and I decided to check to see if Amazon was offering something similar. Sure enough they were offering a similar bundle for $299.99 plus free shipping plus a $10 credit plus no tax plus a $10 discount if a Discover Card was used. I paid a total of $279.99 for this package. The amazing thing is that today is Monday and the UPS truck just delivered it. WOW! I have yet to set it up, but I am really impressed with the price and the overall service Amazon provides. I love Amazing! Shame on those people reselling these systems for twice the price.
